It's a Black and Yellow Argiope, or Argiope aurantia...very nice!

Bbrook, I thought that too, but someone (niere?) quoted the book a while back, and apparently Charlotte introduces her self as,"A. cavaticus", Araneus genus, not nearly as pretty. I'll try to find the thread.
