it is a fig and it is edible but only popular in Asia. I think it is considered more of an ornamental in the Americas. Just looking for somebody that actually grows it. There's gotta be somebody!

I bought it there, lol. that is my favorite nursery, 15 min from my house. The owner provided good info, I am just trying to compare notes with people growing them in their gardens. Up to now, I have never seen one outside a nursery or in pictures.
