Susan I meant to ask which one of them kept calling me that day.
Folks, Susan and I call each other from time to time. One day about a month ago the phone rang and I have caller ID so I knew it was Susan. Well it wasn't her, it was one of the boys. He kept talking to me and calling me daddy. I kept telling him to let me speak to his mother and finally he hung up. Only to call back again a few minutes later. It was so funny. He kept calling me daddy and finally hung up again. Then I decided I better call Susan and see if she was alright. She was and we had a big laugh. Kiddo had slipped the phone into another room.

Such cutie pies. Enjoy them now, 'cause you're gonna blink and they'll be in college before you know it!

Well, today I was doing some things in the house and kept walking back and forth from the den to my bedroom, and I kept hearing a strange humming sound. At first I thought it was the motor on the ceiling fan getting loud, then when I turned the thing off it was still there. Then it would just go away. I thought I was hearing things or something was getting ready to blow up, like the refrigerator or hot water heater or something. (That's just the way my week has been thus far). This went on for hours and I thought I must be losing my mind. Imagine how stupid I felt when I discovered my neighbor bought a new toy.....yes, a super duper leaf blower. I went out to get things out of my car and saw him with his ear plug/muff things and blowing leaves into piles, I guess so he could rake them up to burn them. Haven't quite figured out what he had in mind, but at this rate it will take him a month to blow all these leaves away. I would have asked him but he couldn't hear me. I think I'm just gonna run over mine with the lawn mower and chop 'em up. There's way too many to rake. I would just "leave" them where they are but there are so many I know when they get all wet and mushy this winter it will kill what grass I have. I'm really hoping a good wind will come along and blow them into the woods, or maybe my neighbor's yard. Tehehe

Don't worry... he wont be blowing leaves once he experiences the "hand rattle" effect afterwards left over from blowing all afternoon. It's from the constant vibration.. I know.. I blow the streetside of the cementary at the top of the street, down the street 480 feet where the renters and owners don't give a hoot, past my property to the abandoned "for rent" house next door and onto the renter past there that is divorced with 5 kids and dosn't make one of her older boys do any work outside... Let it never be said that I'm not a nice neighbor...blowing the whole neighborhood like I do.
