dh just informed me that it is suppose to get down to 33 tonight, and could possibly go lower, question is I haven't got any of my morning glory seeds, non are ready to pick, should I cut the vine and place in paper bag til they ripen???? I also have cleome seeds that aren't ready and a few others....
What should I do????
emergancy question
I think they'll be OK even if it does get frost. But in case you are worried, you could put a sheet over
the plants/vine.

Thanks Tammy
Hi connie,
For light frosts you can use bed sheets or even newspaper and cardboard. Don't use plastic sheets if possible.
Good luck
Mike
Even an old blanket or quilt will do a good job...if you can support it with something like a fence. If the seeds aren't ready, don't cut the vines. Chances are, the really cold won't last more tan a few hours and with protection, your plant should survive.
