Coffee Grounds Lily Nutrient?

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

My sister is employed by Starbucks and often has bags of coffee grounds at her disposal. The bag says it is good compost. Has anyone ever used this for lilies? What, if any, nutrients does this provide? Curious....

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

It is not compost until it is composted! I have read that coffee grounds contain 2-3% nitrogen. I collect them at work and dump in my compost bin filters and all. In the spring after the worms have worked them I top dress my lilies with the finished compost. I don't know what other nutrients they provide but there is a soil and composting forum here and a current thread on coffee grounds.
