it is getting really cold up here in Maine. I think we will be getting a frost soon. My blooms are getting smaller and smaller by the day, and curling up on the edges. I am saddened to think that my babies are going to get frosted and die. Am still looking for ripened seed pods but I think alot to them may have fallen to the ground. Will still keep looking. Can't wait til next spring to plant again. I don't think the climate here or my heating bill can with stand inside growth. Pray for a short winter and early spring. ~Sherry
the last of my mgs
they will most likely reseed Paul
If you didn't get seeds I would be glad to send you some. I grew the pinks and purples this summer, and had tons of seed. Dmail me your address!
Sherry1961 - Check closely around the base of the plants...that's where the first flowers bloom and where the most matured seedpods should be...
