I have a weeping buckeye that I'm pretty sure is a host for leafminers. The leaves are usually destroyed by late spring but it still survives. Anyone know the specifics and any products that are successful? Thanks.....

Leafminers vs Buckeye
Are you should it's not bacterial leaf scorch? This is the usual destroyer of buckeyes.

Yep, leafminers, though the mines are the wrong shape for Cameraria mines, so fortunately, it isn't that particular species.
Since the plant is so small, best suggestion is to look out for the mines when they start in spring, and squeeze them.

Thanks....I'll be squeezin' them in the spring.....
