Marigolds - Do they come true from seed?

I have some Aurora Fire that are just beautiful this year and am saving seed heads fo next year. In Plant Files it says that the Aurora Series may not come true from seed. I thought most of the marigolds did; at least for some time. Anyone have a more definitive answer?
