Here is a link to my Photobucket site for Lilies. Please take a moment to look through if you are bored! These are pictures from a few years ago. I will be updating later this winter when things slow down.

Thanks for sharing Mainiac. You have so many lilies, and so many different varieties. That should be a fun winter project.

Saint Bonifacius, MN(Zone 4a)

Always wonderful viewing, Mainiac!

For anyone who doesn't know, many of her pics are labeled, even though not obviously so:

Click on either the URL or image(IMG) box below the small photo and press the right arrow on your keyboard once or twice. If the name of the lily is there, it will be just to the left of ".jpg".

I know I could not keep track of my pics if I didn't either rename the files (as she did with these) or name the lily in the file as she did in others. Nowadays, I often do both.

Oh my, that's just like wandering into a candy shop! :)

That just says it, Ticker! It's like a wonderful old-fashioned cany shop! Thanks, mainiac!

Oh yes, makes me want to take a bite out of that luscious Sun God....

Western, WI(Zone 4a)

Gorgeous lilies, Mainiac!!! Just what I would expect from your garden.

A very nice showing of lilies and makes me wish for spring of o7, just skipping winter.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Wouldn't that be nice? Lily season was so hot here that it went by much too quickly.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Beautiful flowers and photography Mainiac. Too bad they won't be in bloom when we're visiting Cape Elizabeth next Sunday!

Thanks, Rick, for the tip about the names. I was very curious about many of the very dark red Asiatics. They were all great.

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

I wish it were always lily season. It's just too short. Sniff, sniff....

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

You are so right. I plant many in some shade just to try and wiggle out another week of blooms.

I visited your garden Mainiac. I had a great time looking at your pics. You have some truly lovely lilies there. Now my shopping list has grown again. Thanks for putting them up for us to see.

Great collection! There is one that you have labeled minn.jpg. Is Minn the name of the lily? I have one that looks a lot like it I have been trying to ID.

Yes the name is Minn. I am not sure if it is registered or not. There was a story that went with it. I got it from a friend. I will see if I can find the story.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Here is mine. I bought it as Orania, but I think it was mislabeled. It bloomed a very long time for me. I think one of my longest blooming lilies. Do you think it could be Minn? The apricot color is mostly around the edges.

I will as I can find time. I am a pretty busy lady!

Here is a picture of Minn. You will see that the branching and placemnt are quite different.

Liconitess, you lily is obviously an Asiatic not an OT (such as Orania) My thought is it may be Donau http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/122148/

I completely enjoyed your garden. Your pics are amazing. So many beautiful pics. I would love to see your garden in person. Thanks for sharing these pics with us.

I especially like lavendar turks cap type on page 7 -- do you know the name of that? I must get one ;-)

Can we guess?? L. langkongense?

Poland, ME

Moby, I believe you are right. I know where to get some of them... :)

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

The color in Donau seems to be more in the center, rather than all along the edges like it on my lily. I do think it is an Asiatic. Maybe Sugar Bear?

Yes, I think are correct. It certainly looks like it!

Cedar Rapids, IA(Zone 5a)

Dreamy lilies! Thank you for sharing!

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

I was wondering if the Sugar Bear name is right for your lily lincolnitess. The stigma on the Lily Nook's plant is dark whereas yours is a light color.

I have one that looks so similar to your mystery lily...will have to check the pictures again to see what color my stigma is! It came with the name Oklahoma and is supposed to be an LA. I'm guessing that is probably correct since it doesn't seem to ever set seed. It sure would be nice to know its name......Oh well, it is pretty just the same.

Simply awesome!

Bravo :*)

Lovely for the o-man-the-lilies-are-done-for-the-year blues!
Very nice pics and giving me some good ideas for what to look for next.
Thanks.

Thanks so much for posting these beautiful pics -- very inspiring....

Chippewa Falls, WI

The lilies were beautiful. Can I ask where you got Rasponwhip I have never seen that one before. Very pretty and since asiatics grow well here it would be a nice one.

Poland, ME

I got it rom New Zealand several years ago. I only have one bulb at this time, but it multiplies pretty fast. I think the Lily Nook also offered it a few years back.

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Wow! A wonderful collection of unusual and choice varieties! Thanks for the show.
