CLOSED: Caterpillar on my Grape Vine

Los Alamos, NM(Zone 5a)

I have a grapevine in a pot on my deck that has some small caterpillars on it. They look just like a tiny ( 3/4 inch max) monarch butterfly larvae except that they don't have but two stripes of black, white, black. The rest is yellow. There are 6 or so of them, chomping away on the grape. It is pretty cool here -- down to mid-thirties at night. I tried to photograph it but just can't get my camera to focus on such a small critter. Can any of you suggest what they might be? I will not kill them if they are monarchs.
Thanks,
Betty

I don't know what they are yet, but they are not monarchs. Monarchs feed on milkweed, not grapes...

My guess would be grape skeletonizer. Here is the picture of one. If it's not the one, google "grape skeletonizer" and look at the images that are shown.
