So Virgo's are lily lovers!

What does that say?

Sweet, stands tall (or short) and slim, a beautiful head, and full of charm!

Some of us lilies are extra sturdy and wind resistant!

Happy Birthday magnolialover, I hope your special day has been wonderful.

Happy Birthday! The more you stick around here, the more you'll stick around here.

Did that make sense? Yes, I believe it did. But you'll find my grammar can always be improved. Oh well, I got the Happy Birthday right!

Awww, you guys are great.
My birthday was a great one. A peaceful coffee out, combined with a newspaper read, uninterrupted ( a rare treat). A gift certificate for Buggy Crazy and some other "green goods". My daughter (8) bought me some glass flowers while were were out in Boston (from the Harvard Museum of Natural History) & surprised me with those. Beautiful. And they made it home, even more amazing.
Dinner out (so I didn't have to make it!) at an old favorite Italian place. Family & friends, you can't beat that.....treasures.....
Thank you for all your kind wishes, your words of wisdom. I so enjoy each of you, you wonderful lily addicts, you! Thanks too, for being my teachers.

Happy Birthday Magnolialover! Hope it was a beautiful day for you and you got to go out and play in the dirt!

Thank you Ticker! I started to play in the dirt when my family decided I should open my presents. But yesterday was perfect and I was out in the dirt all day. The best days are spent digging, aren't they?

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Yes they are! But presents are fun, too. ;) Especially if they are gardening presents. :)

Oh yes...some of them hidden IN the yard and I was getting too close to them, so they made me come in. That's the best reason to come inside, it beats rain, work and other types of reasons. Don't you agree??

Oh, I do so agree! :) So, are you going to tell us what they had hidden in the yard for you? :)

Weird that it posted several times there. It seemed to be hung up. Hmmmmm.
It was a 4 tier mini greenhouse & a giant Limelight Hydrangea in full bloom. Where to place this hydrangea..... Looks like widening of the beds is the best option, especially with my ample shipment of bulbs coming from Buggy Crazy , B&D Lilies & the Lily Garden(somewhere in the neighborhood of 50). What have I done?? This forum has made me more crazy than I was before, and for a small price of $15/yr. Help!!!! Perhaps I should ground myself from the internet:0)

Now, what fun would grounding yourself be?? I say, go for it! Have a blast! Do it while you can, cause winter will be here soon enough and then you can rest and relax... :)

I hate these long winters, can I be honest? I should at least ground myself from Buggy Crazy's site. I keep thinking I should add this or that.... Well, I'll be digging away here.... thanks for the boost of confidence, Diann.

Sorry I missed your Birthday. It sounded like it was delightful. Hope the year ahead is just as wonderful.

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

As long as you're going to be digging anyway, you might as well make it worth your while... After all, birthdays only come once a year.... :)
