This spring I traded for some seeds labeled 'Tie Dye Shibouri'. They germinated really well (almost 100%). I now have these that look like the photo of the parent:

Katlian - Nice flowers...they are both(!) Ipomoea purpurea flaked shibori...if you look closely at the second photo you posted,you can see the darker streakes that are produced by the flaked gene...

Sure Ron, so far I only have a few seeds but there are lots of green fruits.
I got the seeds from Woofens this spring. She may have some more from that batch too.
