Thanks for doing this Josephine!! I will send these out ASAP to the list..
Food for me is veggie tray.
You are welcome Mitch, and don't be a stanger.
Count me in, and I'm bringing a friend! Not sure what we'll bring for food just yet, I'll get back to you on that.
What kind of food do I bring and what kind of door prize? I am new to this. Is there a price to "get in"?
Sure there is... you owe me one of thsoe Mimosa bushes and I will sneak ya in... lol ... no price just come on - food we share and the door prize can be anything - really.. anything.
Sorry, just now saw this out there. I'm confirming and bringing some sodas and chips. Not sure what I'll nab for a door prize.
Josephine just posted it yesterday, so you are right on time. She is trying to get us all on the same page and organized again.
I am fairly certain I was going to help with the door prize drawings, so everyone dig through your "stuff" and bring something interesting that you don't want any longer, or want to share.
Suggestions......Something plant or garden related would be great! A cute pot, gloves, a gardening book, a piece of garden art, a plant, a bag of perlite or potting soil, a trowel, a hat, seeds, an old plant stand, etc. Don't spend more that a few dollars if you feel a need to buy something. Keep it simple and fun. If you have more than one item those that forgot, won't go home empty handed. Put your name on your item(s) so we know who to thank.
I will bring a fresh fruit salad and ice and water, and loads of utensils.

Put me down for a pasta salad. And I'll bring a couple of door prizes.
It's only one month away!!
Carla
I'll bring a couple of chocolate pecan pies and a door prize. Only a month? I've got to get digging!

ok... you could always bring a chocolate pecan pie for door prize! *giggle I LOVEEEE chocolate pecan pies!
Not sure what I'm bringing yet. probably my famous chicken salad.
I LOVE a good chicken salad! I'm better at baking than at cooking, so I will bake something deliciously sweet. Perhaps something chocolate-y? Or should I bring something lighter?
Can't ever go wrong with Chocolate!!
I will bring brownies, (oh no, more chocolate!) and a door prize. Can't wait to meet everyone.
We, it looks like everything is coming together, keep it up !!!!!
Hi All
My passa flora seeds have not germinated. Darn, I have Red hollyhock seeds: Beautiful rich deep brick red with a coppery color center. I also have white. Well, these are how they bloomed this summer. I have the old tall red pentas that I've rooted.
I have young crepe myrtles: White (natchez) and a lavender pink that has no name but is a lovely tall myrtle when fully grown
does anyone still want Brugs? I have a lovely pink hybrid that blooms abundantly and often. I also have yellows that return from the ground. They still aren't rooted but I will root some if anyone is interested
Young ornamental pepper plants that would be pretty inside in winter.
I'll make a cake with scented geranium. I promise I'll do a test run before I experiment on y'all.
cynthia
Thank you Cynthia, looking forward to seeing you at the swap.
Josephine.
Did you request a pink brug?
Hi all, someone requested a pink brug. I've got it rooting but went back to return the email and can't find your message. Please email me again
all thumbs
cynthia
We bought our house last November so I don't have any thing to trade yet; nor do I have a clue what I might need (except lots of help and encouragement).
I do make amazing brownies, though. Or if you'd prefer something un-sweet; I can bring my Hot Ruben Dip - corned beef, cheese and sauerkraut. Or both...
Just let me know.
~Liz

Dont see any chicken, so we will fry some up and bring.
I am planning on coming to the swap. I have a great door prize - the Neil Sperry Texas Gardening Book. I bought one and got one as a present so I have two. Kind of big for a door prize, I guess, but it was free and I have one already.
Looks like we don't need sweets so I will either bring bar-b-que or a chinese cabbage salad. Depends on whether I have time to cook or not.
I look forward to meeting everyone.
Karen
We all bring door prizes? I don't know if I'll bring anything to eat or not. I'm not much of a cook but I might try. LOL...y'all might be sorry!
Ms. Albertson's makes some great deli items! LOL!
Paige, I don't think everyone has to bring food. I think if we all brought food, we'd probably have too much. You could bring a couple two liters of soda or some juice.
I will bring tortilla chips with either shrimp pico de gallo or fresh salsa & chipolte dip.
I won't be cooking. The only thing I'm good at is Sugar Cookies, and we seem to have plenty of sweets. I'll be swinging by Central Market on the way to Arlington for the pasta salad.
I'll be bringing a couple of door prizes, too.
Carla
Yea for door prizes!!!
