One more flower

Baton Rouge area, LA(Zone 8b)

I`m sharing these results of some crosses I did because some forum members asked me to. This is Ukigumo x Mt Fuji blue

It looks like the rays and the blizzard markings are there together. I`ll include more pictures, sepals and the leaves if anyone is interested. This is the first flower and it is a little mucky but it is so velvety and has very nice substance.

There is no telling what will come from the selfed seeds off of this!

I love it! It looks "draped and flowing"!!

Are you renting a quarter section of land next year to grow out your projects!!?

It has the flowing appearance of the Ukigumo and the thicker substance of the Mt Fuji.

I have this other yogiro/Ukigumo combo that has the most amazing foilage. It looks like foilage improvement for both flowers involved. I`ll post that one later in a few weeks when it flowers.

As far as land:

I have already sneaked a plant on my neighbors side fence to keep it further away from some of the others. They like flowers so I`m getting away with it!

Smiles :)

Update: One plant has a white edge with partial rays and a some picoting...places where it goes in on the sides. The others have lots of blizzard markings. I really like the velvety texture and rich color...all keepers.
