#1 may be Datana perspicua aka Spotted Datana

#2 may be Datana angusii aka Angus' Datana or Datana ministra aka Yellow Necked Caterpillar

This is the first time I've used my new field guide: Caterpillars of Eastern North America

I wish the book had a side view of D angusii because D ministra doesn't look "quite right" enough to call it positively.

This book looks like it's going to be really good. I got 3 new field guides while I was out the other day...this one and 2 about insects.

I'm ready now!! LOL
