I was able to get several nice shots of Dragonflies today, this being one of my favorites. Maybe because I've never seen one like this before . . . or maybe because it only let me get one good shot before it took off, never to be seen again. Or maybe both?
I've checked the Comet Darner male photos on BugGuide (since there aren't any on here yet) and it's pretty close, but I don't think it's exactly the same. Any other suggestions?
CLOSED: Another new one on me . . .
With the help of someone on BugGuide, I beleive this one is a female Roseate Skimmer.
