What a difference a hormone makes...

Hi Dee

I went online and ordered it from Dip N Grow. I think with shipping it totaled $14-$15.00
I haven't had time to look for it locally but my MG group is using it also. I'll check and see where they got it from.

It works. I have never been able to take a euyalytus cutting and it make it but this time is looking good.

I got some online from Charlie's Greenhouse, don't remember exactly what I paid but I think it was in the same ballpark as what Jeri paid. Definitely not $40!

Yes, SW Fertilizer in Bellaire. they have absolutely everything. That is always the first place I call/go. Bought some and it has worked excellent for hibiscus, not so well for roses, but it warmed up a bit, and I seem do do better w/ rose cuttings when it is cool like now or late winter (in our area).$10 or less, I don't remember. i think they will do mail order also.

Thanks Kyle for the tip.

IMO, Dip & Grow works best when you have a ton of cuttings to root. If you are doing just a few, you tend to waste it when you used the pre-measured amounts. So invite your friends, use it for rooting stuff for your plant club, garage sale, etc. This is the most eonomical use. For rooting 3-4 cuttings, I might just stick w/ root-tone and save my D&G for bigger projects.

Thanks Vosser, I will try SWF and see if they have it. I hope it will work since I want to start some Hibiscus cuttings this fall. And a few other things could be cut back to.

I will let you know if it works for me.

Dee
