Earliest and latest lilies

Beachwood, OH

My earliest is a big late June blooming peach colored Asiatic that I've never found a name for. My latest are the L. speciosum rubrum and alba which are happily blooming right now. Are there some other lilies that will extend the seasons even more?

My earliest were red pixie; latest, like yours, is rubrum.

Yes, it's called planting in a pot. Afterwards, you can plant in your garden come fall. I would chose asiatics.

My earliest are various Asiatics in mid-April ; latest is Black Beauty in late July/early August. Well actually the latest is Formosa in mid-August, but not sure that counts!

L. speciosum Alba still blooming their hearts out today - can't believe it. I do have some orientals in a pot that are budded out but haven't bloomed yet. But thats only because I abused them terribly before they got a home in the pot. I find that container lilies bloom on the same schedule as the ones in the ground. At least this year they did.
