Thank you, dreamingofeden. That one is coming inside for the winter to see if I can keep it going. All but one of those plants are "house plants" here in Minnesota. There is a woodland fern that may not like indoor dry air . . . or it may become an indoor thug. Haven't tried one of them inside.

Jeannine~Love your urn, pic #1! Is that a phormium? And what is the other plant, besides the fern and pilea?

I have never had good luck keeping ferns in the house, but my houseplant book says frequent misting is essential. They also suggest using a pebble tray, to raise the humidity level. Hope this helps you keep them growing, very nice grouping.


edited to add: I think I found it! Pteris cretica albolineata or Variegated Table Fern.
