Good idea. The thought of hurting an eye on a stake sends shivers up my spine.

I thought they were made from grapevines. I've seen them in the craft stores.

Hey that's a good idea about covering the tops of stakes. It always bothers me when a staked plant is flanked by a bamboo or other stick just 'sticking' up there beside the plant.
