does nandina ever need fertilizing? I realize this stuff can be invasive, but still, I would like lots of blooms and berries.
nandina
I never did anything to the ones that were at my old house besides occasional compost tea and they had plenty of flowers/berries.
thanks. I live in an area of very low phosphates so I thought of at least adding bone meal.
I never do anything to my mature nandina's except prune the heck out of them! But I have a book that says to give them 1 tablespoon of 10-10-10 per foot of height in April and June.
Sherry
ack! I think, as they are such strong growers, they will be doing good to get a little Black Kow out of me in the spring. thanks everyone.
