My Ellen Bosenquite Crinums have started blooming. These Crinums were my grandmothers. I don't know if they are sthe same plants as she had when I was a kid, or if they are the offspring of the plants she had when I was a kid...but I do remember that she had them on the corner of her garden for al long as I can remember...and when my cousin had the place landscaped this Spring, the landscaper pulled out about 10 of them....of which I got two.

Thank you...it is truly an heirloom. The color looks a little on the red side, but it is really a sort of reddish purple.
