They are all great! I think the favorite in my garden this year was Rose Silk...something about that color!

I particularly like the angle of this picture! http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=2634765

Laurrie, I'm growing ChaChaMaru this yr too. It is a dwarf, my blooms
2 1/2 inches across or less. Ron might have posted something re this.
I like it because it stays open very late in the day here.
Love all your glory's, just beautiful.

Netcong, NJ(Zone 5b)

Hey Laurrie - I find the very light blue one with the separate petals interesting as posted here
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/OhioBreezy_1155922520_838.jpg

and that 'YAGANUMA'
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/OhioBreezy_1155916444_23.jpg
is certainly an eyecatcher

Very Nice(!)...

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

Yes Ron, aren't those spliting petals fascinating! those were first blooms, I will take more when others open - but really interesting to say the least!!!

and the "Yaganuma" as I have it labeled, soon as I hear back from Kari, perhaps we will see if it's the other one you mentioned and it was just mis-spelled, anyway will let you know, but I really really like this one! Here is a photo from today

Beautiful flower there in the last pic, Laurrie, almost appears to be a watercolor painting.

Ohio Breezy, good photos, but now to the important stuff----------how was the rodeo? Didn't know they had them things in Ohio, thought that was a Texas sport!!!

Laurrie - The 'Yaganuma' (maybe YagaNewma?)seems to be settleing in to a more traditional yojiro structure, although it looks to me to be more of a rich lavender-blue than what is usually seen and the somewhat 'sawtooth' effect near the outer limb where the darker lavender interfaces with the lighter lavender
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/OhioBreezy_1156009456_42.jpg
adds contrast and interest to the patternning...

Sunny, sorry I missed answering you the other day. I do a lot of swapping for my seeds, the 2 you mentioned let me think, the Yaganuma was from a friend (we purchased seeds from a co-op from Japan, and I still need to verify the name spelling from her) and the Cornell was from Stacy, I believe she is still on here somewhere???

Txwillie - lol important stuff RODEO we have curcuits that come thru our area and they have them at all the county fairs, it was a nice time, but the bleachers were made for little people, I was so cramped up from sitting all those hours! my daughter mainly wanted to see the barrel racing and the bull riding, it was an exciting time!

Ron - yes I love the sawtooth look to this one, love the colors too, up close and personal they are stunning, but if you are just passing by they just remind you of a deep dark blue/purple with white on edges, and the "star" pattern in center sure shows up.
have taken more today will start loading here in a few minutes
for now, here is FUJISHIBORI, first bloom and a little shredded but on so vibrant!

Laurrie, the Fujishibori is stunning! Remember me in the trading season! I've been looking for the best speckled JMG to grow next season....

I really like the paint brush effect on the Yaganuma as well.

Arlan

Netcong, NJ(Zone 5b)

pamsue - The Kanoko and the FujiShibori both have the speckled pattern, but the Kanoko coloration tends to be more of a rusty reddish/pink whereas the FujiShibori tends to be more of a purple...the color differences are real when viewed in person, but the color differences don't always show up well when captured on film...

Please see the entries in the PlantFiles for Kanoko here

Fuji Shibori Wisteria > purple here

You're growing some beauties this year. I especially like the first one. I did not know there were 2 forms of Rose Silk. I think the one I am growing looks like your solid Rose Silk. It had plain leaves instead of the varigated. It is a very appealing color. How large are the Cornell blooms? I may try them next year on my garage.

Susan

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

the first one is out of a mix, it's stunning, will isolate the vine to save seeds.

I love the vibrant fujishibori, it truly is as bright as the photo shows, can't wait for more blooms
