I have A Justicia Carnea and would like to collect seeds from it for next year. But I haven't been able to find where it hides them. Anybody know?
Thanks,
Donna
Justicia Carnea.... how to collect seeds?
Donna,
This plant should survive your winter. Here in Georgia it dies back but comes from the roots in the spring. I babied some a couple of years ago in a cool greenhouse but folks around here tell me theirs come back every year.

DigsGardening,
Thanks for the info...
I'd like to start more of this plant... what's the best way?
Donna
They're easy to root from tip cuttings. You can use a rooting hormone and provide some kind of covering to keep the humidity up. I start mine in deep cell market packs filled with potting mix. Hope you're successful.

DigsGardening,
Yeah, that's how I usually treat my cuttings. I just kinda wanted to get some seeds from it.
Thanks,
Donna
