I am to scared to try leaving anything out...

Min Pin dont shed much if they are feed a good quality food. Mine were shedding real bad and I talk to a guy at a farm feed store and he said the Procter & Gamble had bought my product and had cheapened it. He suggest a kind that he had and tah dah very little shedding. I have both the Red and the Black & Tan. Ofcourse the black hair was much more noticeable. I have white tile kitchen and bathroom floors and let me tell you I couldnt keep up with her. Now it is much better.

my baby is in the hospital. Doc says pancriatitus (sp?). says his kidneys aren't too good and his heart murmer is worse. I know he is 12 but I don't know how I can handle it if he doesn't make it.

He is to cute. Sorry to hear about his health, and that pancreatitis is not good it is painful. Atleast in humans it is and I suspect that it would be in dogs too. I will have to see if I can get a family picture of mine. Dont know if I can get them all together or not. It like getting the kids together for family pictures.....LOL

Science Diet dog food has been advertising that your dog and cat will shed less with there brand. I switched my pugs to it about 1 1/2 months ago can't tell any difference, But with pugs I don't think anything will help them. LOL. They just naturally shed.

Get a GOOD dog food not all this 'well known' Commercial crapola they sell as 'superior' food which is nothing but cereal and floor sweepings aka by-products.

~ ANY~ good Dog or cat food should have meat as the first ingredient and 2nd or third also if you can find it. BY-products( floor sweepings) and bone meal do not count toward nutrition and may very well sicken your animal.
Dogs are carnivores and need meat.

I feed my entire kennel of show dogs Eagle Natural Formula and have no sickness (barfies) or allergy problems aka itching ,ear probs, hot spots , etc.

Just read the labels first because our furbabies can not read peeples paw-prints ;-D

Back to Tropicals ....................... Thanks for letting me use the space .

It is interesting how deep mulch can help. I know little about bananas, but I have a red one - no botanical name - that is a few years old. I overwintered it in the pot in our living room for two years, where it got to barely 6' in height (outside or in). It got a little shabby indoors, but made it okay. This year, I have it in the ground, planted with a lot of compost. iI went to about 12', bigger every day! If there a chance that it will make it if I leave it in the ground? Or are the reds generally too tender for that?

Scooterbug,

The strangest thing just happened. I was telling my husband about the links you left above. And OMG my granddaughter goes mama something is wrong with sparky (one of my 4) and I looked down intially thinking he just hurt his leg appeared he was favoring it, When I noticed he was shaking all over. Checked his pupils and they were dilated and his gaze was fixed. A SEIZURE, omg I never saw a seizure in a dog. I am a paramedic so I knew what I was see. It scared the living **** out of me. I called the vet. And Sparky started coming out of the seizure. Then he had another very small one. He will be watched very closely til tuesday. Dang holidays. Anyway he is sleeping on my lap right now and doing fine.

First thing I did was run out and grab the dog food bag due to I just bought one 2 days ago and it was in the garage and not throwed away yet. I am Happy to say I was wrong on the food. We had just changed it on the last bag and was going to buy diamond but the guy at the feed store talked us into this one instead. It is actually called Premium Edge. Thank God.

I think I am as stressed as Sparky is right now. He didnt even jump up right now to go outside with hubby......

I hope it doesnt happen again, and not before tues. However the vet that is on call tonight it less than a mile from me. Not my vet but not the KILLER down the road either.

Thanks for the information.

Beck
