I bought a number of packages of perennial seeds this summer, intending to plant them in July and put them in the ground in the fall. But I never got around to planting them. If I plant them indoors this winter and use grow-lights, how should I time the planting for the best time to harden them off and put them in the ground?
Time to plant perennial seeds
I'd try winter sowing.

Thanks. How many months before I plant outdoors should I plant on them germinating? And when should I plant outdoors?
Check out the winter sowing forum--they have a sticky at the top with a lot of that information.
Thanks! I hadn't noticed that that forum existed!
