Coffee and ... for Tuesday, August 15
Hi Vi. I'm going to bed now and I hop[e everyone has a pleasant and peaceful sleep. Godnight all ~~~~~~~~~~~to ya!!!!! Cherie
Jeepers Cherie, You got here before I posted the link. I saw the second message and thought "the only time I didn't test the link I did it wrong". Wasn't expecting to see a message here already. LOL
Ann
Man! Busy weekend for everyone!
Dorothy~I'm soooo sorry for your loss~Lots of hugs, thoughts and prayers out to you....I had just been reading (skimming) through Fri-Mon post and was heartbroken for you.
~Thanks everyone for your concerns over DD's break in.
Defoe, she did feel violated and was most indignant about them going through her things. Yes, they did just take the things they could dump for little cash....just ticks me off!!! No they didn't take the TV...54" would be tough, I'm sure it has been done but not that day. She was just thankful their dog Bentley and Kringer Kitty were still there and OK. She was thankful too that DH encouraged her to stay at his Mom's with him. The officer said she hasn't seen the same house hit in cases like this so that made DD feel better. I just reminded her of how comfy we get and how "on our toes" we ALWAYS have to be. Just like with your son CeCe..you just never know. I agree, don't mess with our babies!! No matter that our youngest baby is 6'3" 200+. CeCe your pond is great~
One time our youngest was down at they neighbor's, the neighbor boy brought in his pellet gun and while our DS was playing a video game said, Cody! Look! DS turned around and stupid kid pulled the trigger. That kid knew better....DS then asked friend's mother to use her treezers to get it out...she was like, right! I'm calling your Dad for the ER. Took an orthopedic surgeon with a computer to surgically remove it! It was in his shoulder...very lucky! Treezers!! That's our Cody. Sherriff had to be called, it's the law with gunshot wounds...Kid learned his lesson, his parents were soooo angry.
Maria~That cat of Ernie and Linda's bit me the first time I met it. I loved it right away, reminded me of our DS's Duke.
WWII???? Where were you living? I can't even imagine....My heart breaks for your familie's and other's pain back then.
I forgot a cup of flour in my zucchini bread last week...after 7 minutes in the oven (give or take 1 or 2) while making another batch I realized I couldn't read correctly, it was worn, I had to take the bread out, scape it back into the bowl, remix with more flour....it actually turned out just fine! I even had a little 4 year boy at camping ask me to give the recipe to his momma....funny thing, I had the recipe with me...I took all my loose recipes to recopy on recipe cards and grabbed the book I had written the zucchcini recipe in:) Never got them copied, but had the one for the 4 year old's mother:)
Talked to Ernie for a bit on the phone this evening...going to try and get out there this week. Glad to hear from him, I think he said Gabby(?) was still under the weather? Is that correct Ernie?
Ernie~You didn't mention lavender!!! I hope it's still there and no one steals it! It is some peoples favorite you know. DH is not so fond of it. Seems it finds it's way into everything around here. One night he said, "Karen.....are those sticks I feel in your pillow case????" "Well, NO! Silly! It's lavender! I can't feel it it's on the bottom:)".... I have it on my bed table and even had some in our tent this weekend. I LOVE the smell, especially when I want to sleep. That and Eucolyptus(sp?).
Hope!!!~ That was the most awfull pic!! I'll probably have nightmares!
And Molly?!! How do you guys do it? I see a small gardner snake and flip out. I guess that's why I live here in WA. We were camping in Eastern OR once where the rattlers live....assured by the park rangers that they, (the snakes not the rangers) stay away..... only to go to the boat ramp the next day and see some guy packing a huge, headless rattle snake off...one that he had just killed in the parking lot mind you! Did I sleep well the rest of that weekend? I think not!
CeCe~If I find out how to get seeds from my Canna, Canna get you some? I'm so witty:) OK, it's lack of sleep.......
I don't sit much either...that's why I haven't seen a lot of the movies that DH has. It has to be darn good for me to be able to sit and watch it. Went to Colossas in Canada to watch the Pirates of the Carribean...I had to get up and leave...I hated the yucky sea creature stuff. I remember liking the first Pirates movie. I left and went across the hall and watched Cars...it was so cute.
Babs~My niece is going to school here to be an XRay tech too. She has another year.
I finally have some RED tomatoes!!! Should be able to pick them in a couple days.
I'm excited! I won the bid for an older Victorio on Ebay!!! I can't wait to get it.
Darius~Broken glass 101...Do not use barefeet to find missed glass shards! I think Old Navy sells cheap slippers (flip flops) what size do you wear?
M5~ Great art show pics...
Ann~..Hosta pics were wonderful..... didn't get through them all but will go back tomorrow.
Mary~ I love a good storm but not on a horse! I only want to be on the old horse in the best of conditions. I do like to talk to them though.......I hear you on the bones....I reached for DC's HEAVY lantern and twisted wrong...his wife is a physical therapist as is her friend that was there...I asked her what in the heck they went to school for all those years for if not to be able to fix me NOW! It felt OK today...lifted my arms above my head tonight and wham....I need to see my chiropractor.
If I don't sleep as well on my bed, I'm putting the Areo bed up...it was quite comfy.
Camping was an experience! If I'm gone for 3 days, have no kids or grandkids I should be able to relax, right? Didn't happen......camping with my Aunties & mother and their grandkids...let's just say not a fun experience...it could have been if everyone didn't have to keep telling everyone else HOW to do things. Just sit down and relax already! We all don't do things the same way, who cares!!!??? I did shock my brother when I yelled at one of my Aunties (the bossy one, who is always right not the one we live with) to SHUTUP. He said, "Karen? Were you serious, chuckle, chuckle?" "Yes, I was, I've had it!" DB...."Chuckle, chuckle again...I think it shocked her too."...... Well, we got along just fine the rest of the time. My family & hers couldn't believe I had done it (neither could I) and were secretly cracking up.
I had taken our little ShiTsu to the groomer Fri. to have one more summer cut. I felt so bad when I felt him shivering by my legs that first night of camping. He always sleeps by my legs on his blanket...I didn't think about the fact that he had just gotten a hair cut, he's an indoor dog and it's darn cold at night. Well he got quite spoiled sleeping next to me under the blankets. DH came home Sunday night as he leaves at 3:30am for work (and we didn't want to have the camp woke up with his diesel work truck)....I had the twins and another niece sleeping in my tent....here is Hali on DH's side, Bo (our dog) in between us, under the blankets with his little head out. He dug around for about two minutes to get it just right and settled in like he was King Dog. The girls loved it.
Glad to be home but lots to do....weeding, cleaning, getting the cupboard doors back on (just painted), going through all the camping stuff, entertaining little guests....the girls want to have a sleep over......DS's two little kitties Dick and Jane are still camping out here...Duke and CC hate them...it's a hissing party.
Sorry I couldn't read everyone's posts....Man, you miss a few days and then you have a book. A good book, yes....but I have to get some sleep time in. DAuntie is up and moving early....No sleep once someone is up and around, I can't do it.
About the Xango, yes it does seem spendy...But....it is totally worth it. I have done the "go without it" test several times. I get the same results and then think how silly I was. I feel better, my fibromyalgia is better and I don't have allergies! My DSIL had horrible asthma..chemically induced, allegic to everything (she has Lupus too)...she's had to be intubated twice and during a rain while at the lava on Big Island went into an attack that her heart actually stopped....very scary stuff....She doesn't even use an inhaler now. She does avoid fireworks (one of her episodes) and her lupus stays in remission. She has been using it for about 3 1/2 years now. I have been feeling really cruddy again with my arthritis and fibro...been off Xango for two months....just ordered again this evening, it's stupid for me to go off it. It is all natural...I take an ounce before meals. If I'm feeling like I'm getting a bug I take more. When I found out about the BCancer I took it alot more! I saw a lot of Drs and nurses at that time and they all were impressed. I took it the 6 days I was in the hospital too. My DA can take it with all her meds, even her coummadin, so can my DFIL. My Uncle and DMIL swear it makes them sleep better...wish it did that for me! I used it on my incision after surgery when it wouldn't heal properly...it took care of the infection and healing better than anything else. Our kids call us the "Xango VooDoo Mammas" But guess who is right at the door steps wanting some when they have something? Check out the site www.xango.net You can dmail me if you want more info...I can get it in the mail.
Does anyone know much about those orange chinese lanter plants? I cut a bunch of the lanterns from a friend. I want to grow some at my Mom's....do I transplant it or do I do it from seed? I see there are seeds inside the lanterns.
Also, looking for cool ideas for potpourri.
Any good dutch oven recipes?
Off to bed...while some of you are getting up and have been up...are probably posting as I am writing:)
Karen~
This message was edited Aug 15, 2006 9:52 AMSorry guys..it was late and I forgot to space correctly....I should only post during the day since I tend to write books at night...sorry.
This message was edited Aug 15, 2006 9:55 AM
Rats! Dick and Jane woke up! Jane is a talker...grrrrr. Dick is quiet...good kitty.
Jumping in quickly to say...good night and good morning! Didn't get back here last night, and I'm out the door pretty soon, so I thought I should just pop in for a minute. No rain yesterday.
Hosta tour was special, Ann, gorgous pictures. I think my big blue one will grow much better when I get it into more shade. It's almost four feet across and looks like burnt toast right now.
Cece I hope they get the guys in the black truck with the pellet gun. Pretty soon we'll have to register those too. DGS brought me his pellet rifle, and wouldn't you know I haven't seen a rabbit since! He called me yesterday afternoon and said they must have a secret news network because his yard is full of squirrels since he lent me his gun!
I thought that "news" report about the Mackinaw Bridge sounded a little hinky, there are far more sensitive targets that would create havoc in the midwest. Maybe this was just more of the now familiar "The sky is falling! The sky is falling!!' before the fall elections? Hmmm, will I get edited for that? Read fast!!!
Carat, I don't recall you saying anything particulary offensive, but then I've been chastized for using certain words that aren't even the "bad" words". Somebody has a long long list and an active imagination.
Susan, maybe you should put up a sign for the birds, limited occupancy! People don't have enough sense to limit their family size to their resources, why would birds. Brave girl, no gas!! I agree with you, it isn't excruciating, it's mostly uncomfortable and takes way too long for scaling. Xango sounds interesting, but the marketing resembles some of the pyramid type sales pitches that go around occasionally.
Boy, I seem determined to offend somebody this morning. Better get off here and go play golf. ~~~~ at all, see ya later
Sheila
Good Morning All...
{{{{{ Dorothy }}}}} Nothing else I can say. I had a beloved siamese who just disappeared years ago from the farm, wondered for years what happened to him. At least you know and have closure no matter how painful.
Calling for rain and today was supposed to be grass cutting day. Also need to set up a saw in the barn so we can cut posts inside out of the rain but there's no electricity to the barn. I wonder if I have a single electric cord long enough to reach the barn.... don't want a junction of 2 cords out in the rain!
Karen, your post above is hard to read... please try to leave a blank line between the paragraphs? White space makes reading easier on these old eyes.
~~~ to everyone else!
Good morning to all of you, first cloudy day and humid in many days, already 72'
GGS is still not here, he is really taking his time to be born, his Mom is getting anxious and bigger by the day
CARAT---- Do not let the edited post bug you. Dave's Garden runs a little program called a bot. the thing screen every post made. It has every offensive word you can think of programmed into it and it will spit out any post that it sees a match on. Nobody is going to throw you off DG for making a typing mistake. It might have saved you from some personal embarresment. It is all computer done I am sure and nobody even sees it.
SARV----- I am trying to remember what it was I put my foot down on. Must have been a long time ago. I need to ask my wife I am sure she know the date, time, weather,and what I was wearing when I did it. Also Sarv a friend wants me to go musky fishing somewhere up there north of Detroit next year. Do not know if I will, but you might be advised to start your horseshoe practice now. I am going to the state championships labor day weekend with a 20.5%average but have been shooting several games near 40%. I do not want you to have to grovel if your beaten to bad.
M5----wife has never tried the food system of beating up on me about something.
Darius, never realized the difference in the white space. Thanks.
Our rain gauge shows 2", we are so thankful. There are reports of up to 3" and it is all appreciated as we are under watering restrictions and in drought conditions.
Must get in gear.
DDG (1 of 10) will be by to pick up her chocolate meringue pie. Baked the crust last night so need to get with it & finish so it can cool down before she gets here. ~~~~~~~~~
Just lost a whole post, Don't know how it just went poof!
Went out and watered everything good. Checked my pond and no floating fishies. Thats a good sign. The frogs didn't come back though so sad:(
You know Sheila I think they (bunnies and squirrels) know when they're in trouble. i can purt near guarantee you give the rifle back they'll be right back aggravating. DH has a CO2 pellet rifle. I can spend all day chasing the bunnies out of my roses he comes home, brings it out and they disappear. He takes it back in and lo and behold there they are in my roses again. Irritating but what is one to do.
Sure Somermoone you "canna get me some" I'm not very witty. Just borrow others sayings.
I need to get more coffee and throw a load in the washer. bbl ~~~~Cherie
Hi all and thanks for the coffee and sympathy. I'm having a teary morning, but counting blessings and happy moments. Our whole family is feeling pretty blue. Yes, I'm glad I know what happened, I know she didn't suffer (head blow), I'm glad I looked immediately and found her before someone else did. I know how agonizing it is to wait and look for weeks. We'll never know why she went to the road = she was born outside, and was pretty smart, and had always avoided the road.
"Twas my one glory
Let it be
Remembered
I was owned of thee" Emily Dickinson
m5-You got it perfectly right, first you don't believe it, then you think maybe she's just stunned...The worst is telling the kids though.
cherie-i'm glad you got your pond, I will go back and try to appreciate the pictures! Also, I am very sorry to hear about your son getting shot, glad it wasn't worse, and yes, I would be pretty ballistic. It seems like people care less and less about their actions...( I think it's pretty awesome you got arrested defending your kids )
petra-wish there was a little extra chocolate meringue pie there. That's comfort food!
Oz- you are too funny, as usual, could you ask your DW to check in and learn some more management techniques from the experts?
Karen-I grow lavender too,mmmm, I like to put a few sprigs in the ashtray of the car. When the car is closed up, instead of musty smell, it's lavender smell. (If you have new car smell, you can skip this tip!)
Ann- I need to take your hosta tour again. I've been putting in lots of shade plants by our little pond. I had about 6 hostas that I lost the tags on, and I got Summer Music (a favorite), Revolution, Sum and Substance, and Drinking Gourd. I have an enormous blue, but I need some little blues. Got some interesting heucheras, too.
i'm going back to reread yesterday...Thanks so much, from the bottom of my heart, for caring about my poor kitty.
Morning All!
dmc I am so sorry about your fur baby. That is so heart breaking.
petra glad you guys finally got some rain. I've been wanting to share ours but it wouldn't listen. Now I hope your temps drop also.
twyla I hope you got some of that rain also.
darius have you ever frozen chunks of carrots? I've done slices but never chunks and I'd like to if it works. Thanks! Good luck on the shed work today.
cherie I will dmail you.
To everybody else hope your day is what you want it to be!
9kitty-have you ever posted a pic of your pond? That is excellent that you can water out of it and can keep 400 hostas...I'd like to see it.
I, too, am so sorry to hear about your kitty..losing one is never easy, no matter how it happens.
Kris
I finally have a dentist' appointment. However, it's not until September 18 although I AM on the standby list. The antibiotic my lung doctor prescribed seems to be helping.
Good for you. There's always cancellations in a dentist office but if there isn't at least you have a target date. Good thing you got the antibiotic.
Darius - did you tell them how much pain you had been in? I know that my dentist would fit me in somehow. But i guess maybe the difference is that this is a new dentist for you.
Dorothy - here you go - chocolate meringue pie. (Isn't the Internet wonderful?)
Hven't caught up with all, but need to get something done before I have a student this afternoon. BBL
Ann
VAnn, I couldn't lie about the pain because it IS a bit less. Last week I'd have been screaming for an appointment. The gal did say if it got that bad again to call back and they'd fit me in. I suspect it will. I just dread that it's going to mean a root canal, big bucks. Can't pull it or I will have to start eating baby food as I have no other chewing surfaces.
Meant to say it IS still very painful, just not the screaming meemies 100% of the time.
Morning everyone ...
First things first ...
dmc~ I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty cat. I know that must have been terrible to be on the way home and have to see that ... but I too will just echo what the others have said in at least you have closure and were able to be the one to put her in her special resting place. I'm sure that gives you a lot of comfort just knowing. Many hugs to you.
Darius, thanks for reminding me that space is important when posting? Sometimes I forget about that also. :-)
Susan, you always have such interesting posts about baby birds, etc. I had a nest of baby birds on the top of my carport. Well, actually, the DH built a rack under the roof to hang plywood and the birds love it up there. I could hear those babies in the evenings when I was out there watering just a fussing when Mama was feeding them. You know that *little* tiny peeping noise they make at first. Oh and Mama was *real* protective of them, also. She didn't particularly like me being out there. I'm pretty sure it was a blue jay. Then, you could tell they were gettin bigger ... and before I knew it they weren't in the nest anymore but I could hear them out there in the trees. It was fun watching them grow up. It made me wonder how many of them there were and how many survived. :-)
To all of you that are suffering from this heat so much and not getting any rain ... I sure feell for you. It's so hard to watch your plants die and not be able to do anything about it. I don't do a lot of *true gardening, but I have some seeds and if you'll Dmail me your likes I'd sure love to share what I have. I'm not good at inventorying but can let you know. :-)
Cece your pond sounds really nice and I love your technique for getting it.
Mary, I always love escaping in your posts. :-)
sarv, I gain 5 lbs everytime I read about your yummy desserts.
Okay, it's taken me half a morning to write this. I'm doing my part to battle the laundry monster today and am puttering around outside a bit. It has been a *little bit cooler the past few days, so I thank you to those that have sent this relief my way. Hi to Mariia, Defoe, Ernie, Bal, Darius, Meezers, McCool, Casy, Ves, and anyone else I have neglected to mention. Am ~~~ at everyone.
~Elaine~
Hooray! Today is the first day of school and the kids are both out of the house! It's so nice and quiet and I don't have to make breakfast or lunch. I'm having chocolate chip cookies for my lunch and there is nobody telling me they're hungry or taking my cookies. I love the school year!
dmc-I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it's very hard. I lost one of mine over ten years ago and it still bothers me sometimes. Buy yourself a beautiful new flower or tree that you've wanted for a while and didn't want to splurge on and plant it as a memorial so that you have something wonderful to remember your furbaby with.
I hope everyone gets the rain they're needing. I would happily share mine with you all. It just seems to keep raining all the time here. Never alot at once, just consistent rain about two days a week, and usually on the weekend when I have something planned. I'd rather have rainy weekends than a drought though, so no complaints from me!
Karen-I did a google search on potpourri recipes and found a whole lot of them. I guess the recipe you want would depend on what ingredients you have or what scent you want, but this seemed to be a pretty good general starter on making your own and has recipes for both dry and moist types. See if this will give you what you want
http://www.herbs2000.com/h_menu/1_potpourris.htm
Things never go quite as planned. I hoped to start on digging holes for posts today but there is so much debris from the barn that I have Brent burning a little at a time, garden hose in hand, sitting in a lawn chair. He was astonished that I'd pay him to burn and watch the fire with a hose handy. Heck, cheaper than hauling it off!!
The storage shed in the barn will be narrower than I planned by 2 feet, mostly because we need space to nail on the outside of it. Means a lot of wasted lumber in 2 foot sections but still cheaper than paying Mike to take it back and exchange it. I guess I can use the hatchet and make kindling for my woodstove out of the waste. Some of it will go for cripples and jacks for the windows though.
Flowerchild, I am somewhat puzzled about you do not have to make breakfast for your children???
I too remember how quiet it was after I came home from driving my children to school, could accomplish a lot more in the garden and getting busy baking bread and other things like toll house cookies for when DH and children came home
Elaine, you did not say how your shoulder is????
Ann, the pie looks yummy, I will take a small piece, thank you
Darius, don't see why you have too wait for your appointment?? It really sounds like an emergency
It is raining now, nice needed it
Hi, Sheila,...where is Bonnie?? dmc, hope you are doing okafter that sad loss of your kitty
~~~~~ to everyone
Darius,
You could build shelves with 2 feet of leftover any kind of lumber. For us, we have used every last piece and remnant we could find. Matter of fact when I was at the neighbors the other day, he had some pt poles he said he was gonna burn.
No way man, I'll take them off your hands. Can you say "fence posts"? It would be good for him too because part of the fence is going to be bordering his property.
Molly
:^))))
yes Ann your pie does look very yummy. May I have a itty bitty piece?? Thank you.
Maria-My kids' school serves breakfast every morning and it's really cheap. They get a hot, healthy breakfast for less than what it would cost me to give them cold cereal every morning.
Flowerchild, times have changed, my children went to school a long time ago, no breakfast there, they still do not serve it. We were an "olde fashioned family' we all sat down and I served they works as breakfasts go, my DH insisted on it
I never ate any, still do not, only OJ and coffee. The same thing was for dinner but I ate then, LOL. Lunch for my children was in lunch boxes prepared by me.
My DH works third shift, so he is still at work when the kids leave for school. As soon as they leave, I get ready for work, so the only meal we get to eat as a family is dinner, and sometimes we don't even get to do that depending on when DH got to go to sleep or if we have ballgames that night. Alot of our meals during ball seasons are purchased at a concession stand and eaten in the bleachers. We do sit together at the dinner table every possible opportunity though.
that is understandable, flowercild, we were the typical 9 to 5 family making it very easy for me to plan our food schedule
Morning everyone (actually almost noon here) I took a xanax last night and they zonk me right out!! Slept until 8am with only an hour that I remember tossing and turning and checking the clock. Got up and decided I needed to make back up discs for my computer - never knowing that it would tie it up for 3 hours...grrrrr. Well, that job is done!!
Tonight is the BD party for DSF. Ordering our pizza, breadsticks and sundaes. Easy, but expensive, but who cares.... One DIL did offer to bring something, but she works full time and is preggo, so I told her just to come with her smile!!
Darius, glad to hear that you'll be visiting the dentist soon. Why don't you get dentures? I think they look better than the old yellow chompers you get when you get old. No matter how often I get mine cleaned, they are yellowing....yuck.
We save left over anything!! DH is a major pack rat. But I tell ya, things he has saved have come in handy!
DH did get the trees all cut up and the brush removed. I wanted to burn the leftover brush, but he insisted on shoving it in the fence row- don't ask me why. Caused a few hours of silent treatment again. But then I decided not to make a major issue over it- although I still believe it is stupid...
VI - good going on the covers..It's always more fun when you are working with a friend.
Well, I need to bamboose and move the sprinklers. Also need to call that stupid investment guy. That makes 2x I've been bamboozled... He's gonna get an earful tho. If he was making me a mint, I wouldn't complain, but he stuck it in CD's for heavens sake.
that is understandable, flowercild, we were the typical 9 to 5 family making it very easy for me to plan our food schedule
PS meant o say all the sports activities were during there school day, never anything after
I was browsing some of the other forums and came across the following. I had to share this with everyone because it made me cry and was very touching.
http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/638890/
sarv re- the brush on the fence row - plant flowering vines along the front and let nature take its course. The birds and other critters will LOVE you for it, and in return will provide you much entertainment. You may very well notice more variety around your bird feeders, and more butterflies around the flowers as more types will feel safer with that cover to escape to.
And remember, revenge is sweetest when its cold. Some day you can use this to blackmail him into doing something you want!
ginni
Thank you, flowerchild, what a great story
Hi Maria~ thanks for asking. It's better today, but I'm limiting myself on the puter as that aggravates. :-( Yes, I went to school in those days also. Us kids ate breakfast at home and still had meals together. No tv in the background either. :-) Can you imagine that now? Wouldn't it be so much better if our churches were supporting the communities so that feeding,etc hadn't fallen on the backs of the people? And yes, I go to church but am not blinded to the flaws. For there are flaws in every group of people ... even families as we see here at coffee. Okay, off that.
Gosh, got side tracked ... telephone ringing, dryer buzzing ... yikes! Old news ... will post anyway.
... Elaine
Beautiful ... just beautiful ... Oh now you've gone and done it ... you've made me cry! LOL
|Hi, I am back, phone/internet down for almost 3 days, have to do some reading to catch up, then will come back and comment. Making roasted spaghetti sauce today, so just waiting till time to stir, etc.
BBL
Flowerchild - thank you for a touching story.
I should confess, you'll find that pie at http://www.nealsrestaurant.com/bakedgoods.htm
Thought I could find a cyber picture to go with the cyber treat for Dorothy and it worked. Looks better than any I'd make, I'm sure. LOL
Dorothy, what was your Kitty's name? You might be able to find a similarly named plant as a memorial.
Spent two hours helping Food Cupboard successor with stats that should have been done at the end of June. Told him something else would have to wait till I got back from my vacation.
An adult student just arrived; so gotta go. Just thought you might like to see this - just received from DD#2.
Ann
Sorry Darius and everyone else about the long post...
M5~No offense taken....Not a Pyramid, Multi-Level Marketing, yes.....I don't push anything, the product sells itself, I'm just stupid when I don't order because I get enough back to pay for 2 cases. I don't do anything else, no meetings or anything. Basically we have ways to sell our products, direct sales, home sales, multi-level marketing. All are great. In Xango I found a product I LOVE. I didn't do it for $$$. It's not a miracle cure and works differently for everyone. They do have a 90 day money back guarantee if you save your bottles, minus the shipping. My favorite part is their charitable organization, it's for kids. They help children worldwide. Not trying to sell anything...was just saying what has worked for me and DSIL....for us and the allergies, it was amazing!
Carat~Went back to read yours...just looked like what you said...fingures got away and an DS and hit ran together:)
DM~ Yes, I will find a place in the car for the lavender...where DH can't find it:) Take care and give your other kitty extra loves.
Flower~Thanks! It always saves time to get a link or two...I put it in my favorites. My DA's nurse makes a lot of it and has invited me out to her house to play....tell me your favorites and I can dig around for "stuff"...if I get going maybe some of you will get little surprises around the holidays:) Thanks for the additional post too...scanned it and marked it to read....great!
My back is still our...grrrr....no time for this...have a chiro appt this afternoon.
Have a nice day all...off to water and feed the plants, weed, clean, laundry, cupboard doors, pets...have 3 year old this am...she's great! Beautiful day with a bit of a breeze...sorry some of you are so hot and sweltering. Plus have to do the canning........
Ann~Great pic!
