I can still see my senior English teacher in high school writing "Angles, Saxons, Picts, and Jutes" on the board before the study of Beowulf! One doesn't hear too much a bout the Picts recently....

I always wanted to go see the pyramids in Egypt and now my DH says "No way!!" ....too unsafe for Americans. That is tooooo sad!!! I have friends who have a trip planned to Jerusalem in the fall, but they're pretty sure now that they will not go. Thanks goodness for "trip insurance"!!!
