Lilies wanted Pleaseeeeeeeeee

Hi, I am new and would love to add more lilies to my garden, If anyone is dividing up and would be willing to share for sasbe or postage please keep me in mind. I do not have alot to trade yet at this time. Any consideration is very appreciated and I am in zone 6. Thanks and either way have a great fall planting season all!

the Mass horticultural society is having a lilly sale on August 26th in Waltham - all lillies are $5.00. A gardener that works there told me last sunday. I am not sure where in waltham but their phone is 617-933-4900 have you ever been at Elm Bank? their lily garden is in full bloom and it's absolutly gorgeous!

Kassia, Thank you for the info on Waltham. I have never gone but will be sure to make a call inquiring on the sale it sounds fantastic. No, I can't say that I have been to Elm Bank but will have to make sure I do. I just adore Lilies! Will also have to make sure I have my digital with me for some pics to share!

I am going to call tomorrow if I have a chance.work was crazy today... I am going to the sale. and.taking my friend the master gardener if she can make it... I saw some lilies at the lilly garden that are worth to sit down and look at them for hours... there was a peach color one that the gardener told me it will be on sale and I want that one... Elm Bank is an old estate that now is the headquarters of the MA Horticultural Soc. I go there sometimes for lunch... it is just so absolute beautiful mansion... I pretend that those are my gardens.... oh well, a lillte day dream!

Would you be willing to buy me some and send them to me.... I love the older style lilies but they are so difficult to find around here. I can PayPal you the $$

Judy, let me know exaclty what you want... I call my friend at the Mass Hort. Soc and ask her if they will have it... if so I will get it for you...

Gosh a catch 22!! Without knowing what they will have I don't know what I would want. See if there is a website which lists what they will have available. If not and you can get some one to email you a list, at least it will be on DG and I'll list it on my website, under my garden page. lol lol I have around 800 people a day visiting my website and although it is an English Bulldog site, you would be amazed at the number of people who are interested in both Bullies and plants. www.puppygal.com

I know a white, English buldog that I wish I could take her for a sleep over... Her name is Bella... she is the sweetes thing I have ever seen... her owner is the Master Gardener and friend!!!!

this is the information on the Daylily sale:

they don't have a list yet, because they havent't started digging then up... they are doing it next week
but they will be separated by color - so if you want yellow you go to the yellow table and so on

the address is 240 Beaver Street Waltham - and the Field Station just around Bentley College

Another thing I found out today - really a good deal this weekend - at 36 Elaine Road in Sudbury, MA - Steve Green is selling his daylilies for $3.00 each. This Saturday and Sunday... I just spoke with the the daylily lady from the MA Hortc. Society - I am lucky enough that she lives in the same town as me!!!!! and I am going to visit her daylily garden next week!!!! I know I am so happy that she is so nice and wants to teach me... I love gardeners!!!!
