Tracks the Harlequin bug is what I originally thought it might be. After a search I wasn't sure anymore. I can't find a pink one doggone it. It sure does look like a Harlequin huh? I'll keep searching and hopefully I'll find this particular species.
It sure is a pretty thing!
Thank you dear :)

It looks like one of the cotton stainers to me. Dysdercus is the genus, not sure which species.... (Order: Hemiptera, Family: Pyrrhocoridae)
Will keep looking...

Lincoln, United Kingdom(Zone 8a)

It looks very much like a Scarlet Plant Bug, Lopidea sp.

Wallaby - I don't think so. Vee's bug has the white outline common to cotton stainers, which Lopidea doesn't have.

As a matter of fact. see http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://creatures.ifas.ufl.edu/field/bugs/Cotton_stainer_ID.jpg&imgrefurl=http://creatures.ifas.ufl.edu/field/bugs/cotton_stainer.htm&h=344&w=500&sz=76&hl=en&start=8&tbnid=1_8nuJicB8psEM:&tbnh=89&tbnw=130&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dcotton%2Bstainer%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26rls%3DHPIA,HPIA:2005-37,HPIA:en
Dysdercus suturellus
That's an awfully long link, I'll check to see if it works after I post.

Nope, it didn't. I'll see if I can find another.
