Crug Farm nursery

Antrim, Northern Ire, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

hi all

I had my first visit to Crug Farm in Wales on Saturday just past. It's famous mainly for geraniums but also for plants from the Far East.

we drove to Dun Laohaire, south of Dublin, and crossed to Holyhead, Wales. the nursery is just 15 minutes from the boat. We, 4, spend over £400/$600 on plants. No need to guess that mine were all hardy geraniums.

We left at 7am and didn't get back home until midnight. That makes 17 hours away including 4 hours, no way long enough, at the nursery.

here is their geranium list

Photos will follow next weekend.

what a place it's a plantaholics candy store.

be still my heart. Still can't figure which I love the most, geraniums or brugs. Good thing I don't have to make a choice:)
I finally got a picture of what my Geranium platyanthum is going to look like. I have 22 seedlings right now. It's gorgeous, as they all are.
Thanks for the daily drool Mark. I know you had a wonderful time!
