dead foliage

I have used sevin dust and now everything is turning brown and yellow in the center of my vine and bottom. I have been pulling dead foliage off. Should I be? The top is growing nicely, and I haven't seen a jap beetle since I used the sevin.

Sherry, I have one that is doing the same. I didn't have the beetles, maybe yours is in shock from all the excitement, I think they are okay, just not pretty at the bottom. For me, I think it is the heat.... I water everyday. It's just been very hot here. I'm sure a more experienced DG'r will chime in.
