Hens and chicks seed?

Is it possible to get seeds from Hens and chicks? The flower on mine is just opening and I wonder if anyone has had any success getting seed.

Hens & chicks produce seeds. Just leave the flowers to mature and brown up. Then you can shake the very teenie weenie seeds from them. I haven't tried to grow them from seed so I have no idea how long it would take for germination.

The last thing I need is more chicks and hens but I think I'll try it and see what happens and how long they take.
