It's me again...

I'm wondering if anyone else is growing this tree. If so are you keeping it staked as it grows? Mine is certainly vigorous and I'm wondering if it will promote a leader or do I keep staking it 'til it gets a desired height. I'm gonna need a ladder pretty soon!

I dunno either, but there is a nice ginkgo by our library that has weeping branches. The problem is that they are too high for me to take a cutting. Maybe it is a female and I can collect seeds, but what are the odds that they'll weep? There are normal ginkgos nearby so they would most likely be the pollinators. I'll take a pic when my books are due later this week and post. Pretty cool tree
