I have 8 morning glories in gallon pots and they have reached climbing height. For starters, I placed 4 foot bamboo stakes in each pot. I tried to guide the plants towards the stakes before I went to end of the drive to get my mail. You may not believe it, but one not only grabbed the stake but also twined around it by the time I got back. They actually seem to like this heat wave.

I liked to imagine that the thunder and lightning crackling over my emerging morning glory seedlings were getting them off to a roaring start, and be that as it may, they do seem to be behaving like little Frankensteins in 7-league boots. Yup, I believe it.
