A dear friend lives in the coastal section of New Hamsphire which was hit by a severe storm yesterday. Golf ball sized hail, wind and torrential rain. her garden was in peak bloom. Here is a picture of one of her prized lily beds.

No fortunately she wasn't home. If she had, her brand new car would have been dented and damaged.

Wow--how terrible. I am sorry for your friend. I've had some hail damage, but luckily very minor as the hail was much smaller. I hope she'll have good recovery next year.
