Just wondering if anybody knows, if they tolerate salt air.
Gardenias, and salt air?
I seem to recall seeing a number of Gardenias growing near the ocean in Virginia Beach when I was down there last summer...though I do not grow Gardenias so my identification skills might be off.

Hi Edric,
You might find this link helpful. It's about salt tolerant plants
www.gardeningnhc.org/pdf/SaltTolerantPlants2000.pdf
It says gardenias are slightly salt tolerant.
