Lauri makes me so up-set I sent so many rare hard to get lost count how many until I got tired and stopped cutting.
Make sure they are getting planty of fluid to drink and humidity. Might want to cover but watch not too much mositure as they will rot.

Pinellas Park, FL(Zone 9b)

Congratulations both of you,
Everyone must be down to the last 1 or 2 now. I only need Midnight plum but I have to work tomorrow and won't be able to check till late as Mondays are really busy so good luck to everyone left.

"Everyone must be down to the last 1 or 2 now. "

LOL... I still had Midnight Plum on my list too, plus 3 more!

I'm trying to remember.... Was Lorry on tap for August Bingo? I'd be happy to hold cards in August. I'd also like to offer a game in October... I'll be with my nieces & nephew the first week of that month, and I'll bet they'd get a kick out of helping me draw names from a hat! I saw that RainGazer and dragonzgold were also offering to host during the next couple of months, so we'll have to figure out a way to work all these games in before the weather gets too cold to ship without heat packs! :-)

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

I have many heat packs I can send to anyone sponcering a winter Bingo !
Also books, suplies...are good prizes for winter Bingo games !

If Lorry or someone else had already offered to sponsor August's game, that's fine! Since you want October, Jill, I could do September, in that case, if noone else has called September, or whenever. I was just making public that I'm happy to sponsor a game anytime. :o) I've got a whole list of things I've thought of (and written down so I don't forget) to offer during the winter if plant/leaf shipping is not possible, so I could host a cold weather month. So whenever my turn comes up, warm weather or cold, I'm ready! :o)

Allison, do you have room to hang on to those heat packs til we see who might need them for shipping?

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

yes

Dayton, OH

esp, esp, esp, esp, esp, esp, esp, esp, esp, esp, do youuuuuuhearrrrrrrrrr meeeeeeee.lol :) congrats to winners. wild bob

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

Lauri then I know you are hot! That's not the most comfortable area in the summer is it?

Wild Bob- some now we have missed each other! I promise I took the tin foil out of my hat! Maybe it's the dang humidity molding my brain! LOL.
Hang in there, one more winner to go!

Edison, NJ(Zone 7a)

I had already offered to hold cards in August, and sponsor in September or October, but if someone else wants to do it, that's okay too! I don't mind.

Maybe I can be a cardholder in either Sept or Oct, and be a sponsor in November (if the game is still going by then)??

Congratulations to our two winners! Wonder who #3 will be? Wishing lots of good luck to everyone!

Stephanie

Caistor, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

April it is currently 114 at 5:29 pm but with the humidity figured in it is around 118 or higher. You can sit and sweat in the shade. Back out to the pool.......Lauri

Edison, NJ(Zone 7a)

Actually, November might be a better month for me to sponsor anyway (it will give some of my plantlets a chance to grow out a little more). So if noone else wants it, I'll take November.

As for holding cards - any month we need someone (other than November, obviously), I can do it.

Stephanie

P.S. It's a nice, cool 73 degrees here, with only about 70% humidity. What a change from the last few days of 95-100 degrees with 100% humidity!

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

I can hold cards any month too.... figured I'd also offer for August since I am guessing that Lorry and I might swap trade boxes again at some point anyway, so I can "sit out" on her round and let somebody else have a chance at her fabulous selections!

Even though Rob's switches to winter shipping on November 1, I'm guessing shipping in November shouldn't be a huge deal as long as you keep an eye on the weather forecast between points A and B and pack with a little extra insulation.

LOL at how we're not *quite* through with this game yet, and we're already jockeying for the chance to host the next few!

Cincinnati, OH

Don't forget, I can hold the cards on any given month, as well. I do not have enough of anything *YET* to host, but I am looking forward to my chance.....just as soon as I figure out putting down leaves. No luck yet people! I am so stubborn, those poor little leaves don't stand a chance. LOL

Kelly

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

I have shipped year round for the past few years I've been growing. I did stop from the middle of Dec, to after Jan 3rd. I shipped many people here in DG's their first boxes of African violet plants and leaves in the end ov Nov, Dec, 2005 and Jan,Feb, March and so on. Dozens of boxes and they were all fine with the 60 hour heat packs and insulation !

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Will there be more drawn??

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

PS The heat packs weight about a pond each and I will be more than happy to ship them free to anyone sponcoring a winter month.
And though I don't have any plants left if there is a month with no sponcoer I will still sponcor I have plenty of good books One that cost me $42.00 one of the best out of print books and others. I have lots of suplies to go with them and can even pull a gift cert. out of my hat if it is a winter month like Dec, Jan ...someone can win along with a super rare book and suplies to pick their wish list for 2007 shopping !
I see no reason why the game can't be played year round !

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Allison,

Books, I would love that.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Makshi, I think April was going to draw one more round today...

Allison, I think a book would make a great Bingo prize! I agree -- we'll be creative, and we can play all winter long!
