I saw this at my friends new house and she doesn't know what it is either. I would love to have one of these. I will post a close up of it next

It looks like the pics of Texas Sage (Leucophyllum frutescens) although I can't say I've ever seen it in person.

It is Texas Sage. Needs well drained soil and I'm not sure how far north it's cold hardy.

I'm in North Texas, just outside Dallas and Texas Sage is winter hardy here. What a beauty it is after a rain when the blossoms pop. This has been a wonderful addition to my landscape.
