Good morning and..... rah rah rah..... for Bonnie
YES Bonnie!!!!Well I am off to work for the next 2 days so I'll catch up when I get home....Hugs to all....Lauri
congrads for not letting the computer win!!
Morning- just got back from my garden walk. Scared off a huge raccoon in the cherry tree - out comes the live trap again...
I am overwhelmed with white flies this year - never had them before. Anyone have any solutions for them - when I am done here I will need to get out the bug book and see what measures I have to take. I gave the brugs a shot of fertilizer and I can already see the difference. I need to remind myself to do it more often!
7:30am and the sprinklers are already turned on....hope the well doesn't run dry!!
Here's my chores for today:
edge all the beds (may take two days for that chore)
plant some blue iris my SIL gave me two weeks ago!!
visit to the bank and them McD as it is so close
taking MIL for blood work and then shopping
Maria, haven't heard much from you. How's the back doing? I hope you haven't given up baking for us. I'm hungry - anything on the table this morning??
Defoe-glad Mr B did so well at the dog show- pics please..
grr, I just closed yesterdays page...BBL
I have a dentist appointment, and need to get going. I will post the dog show pics when I get back.
Good morning to all! Another beautiful day here in WI. I've got pretty much the whole day planned with laundry, watering and more weeding, vacumning and all the other indoor boring stuff. Walk around my beds this morning I noticed there are a few things that maybe I should move either closer to the front, or a different bed entirely. Some things just not working. My neighbor down the road stopped yesterday and said she uses Cutters mosquito and other insects spray on all her plants and shrubs. My DH had got some last year for mosquitos and we had not a single one and come to think of it I never had buggy things on what beds I did have. He didn't spray this year but had a half full container in the garage and it takes care of other bugs too. Least the label says aphids, mites white flies leaf miners and leaf hopers and I can't remember all of them. He's picking up more after work tonight and we will think about spraying everrything. Mosquitos just haven't been a problem this year. Hasn't been hot and humid enough I guess. Has anyone else heard of using this?
I know Sarv, I am not as faithful posting as most of you but then I do not have much to tell, am just gardening, cleaning house and taking care of Samson. As I told you yesterday was my girls birthday 58 and 53 but I think I told you that. Also AC man is coming later to fix it, today so far it is only 60' with a very gentle rain for a change, Samson is raising h.. he just loves it and so do I , cannot stand the heat.
LOL, reminds me of the time I left my PhD advisor in the lab, entirely determinted to install the new printer with no help from anyone who might be more computer savvy.... I came in early the next morning and found a piece of paper on top of the printer with this bold headline in extra-large type: "Man Triumphs Over Computer!"
Bonnie, congratulations on your triumph! :-)
For all who were feeling like yesterday was Monday.... just think how quickly Friday will be here!
I hope the skies clear so I can spray the tomato plants, which are showing some signs of blight after all the rains (not sure which blight, but I think the Ortho Garden Disease Control will do the trick for most of them). Trying to catch up on weeding after all the rain too. Of course, I think I spend all summer trying to catch up on the weeding, regardless!
I've been seeing a few Japanese Beetles, but *knock on wood* not enough to need to spray or put out traps. They are late this year; we usually are inundated with them by mid June. I don't know if it's the GrubEx that I put down on the lawn and out under the fruit trees this spring, or if it's the fact that the farmer didn't plow the (soon to be sold & developed) fields behind us, but I am hoping the JBs gave us a miss this year!
I'm baking a chocolate cake this morning to take next door to our new neighbors. They were doing a good bit of work on the house, new flooring, painting, etc, and they finally moved in over the weekend while we were away. So they are overdue for a welcome cake! Sorry, no snitching from that one.... but I'll try to have some chocolate chip cookies ready for afternoon tea/coffee break!
Good morning!
Can't stay ... but wanted to say hi, because y'all don't see me here early, so thought I'd surprise you. LOL Need to get out and water before it gets too hot.
sarv, I didn't see anything on my brug, so am thinking it's because I need to be more faithful about fertilizing her. Thanks again, though, for telling me what to look out for.
Hi Maria ... I always love hearing from you *and* Pati. I know the 2 of you think you have boring lives ... but really ... what you don't realize is ... mine is boring too. I just do it in a different part of the country. Love hearing about life from others perspectives. :-)
Darius, thanks for the info on those hoses. I knew I was buying cheap when I got mine at the dollar store. Like I said ... they were coiled and perfect for the deck ... and very light weight. I've been having problems with my arm and dragging those heavy hoses around have been bothering me, so I thought I'd give that a try.
Okay ... I really got to get up or it will be too hot to water. Hi to everyone for now. Will check back later today.
~~~~~
101----- Being old and often in a reflective move I got to tell you everytime I see that heading of yours "way down south in Ga" it takes me back to my youth. A bunch of us used to come up to Waycross in the weekends from the Carrier Basin in Mayport Fla, when we there, and that was not often. Used to be a big bar in Waycross that would serve 19 yr old sailors. Was many southern belles in there and more than a ample amount of trouble. I do believe it was before your time. For the life of me I cannot remember the name of the place.
Good Morning!
NJ is still closed. Someone asked about vacationers. Anyone who was camping in a state park had to leave on Tuesday afternoon. Most of the beaches are open. There are only 2 or 3 beach areas that are state parks.
Congrats Defoe! You did it. Good job at the dog show! Bet DGD was beaming.
Maria - Much fresher air today isn't it. We might even see a little sun later.
Mosquitos are getting bad here from all the wetness. It doesn't help that when they cleaned the ditch in front of my house, they made it lower than the drain pipe under the driveway. Now we get standing water in there. I have thought about getting those mosquite things that you can throw in the water, but when the water is up, I'm afraid they would wash away.
Gotta get to work. ~~~~~to everyone. Have a great day!
Good morning. Sunny and 59 at 7:30, but it will be about 90 before the day is over.
Suzie, you could anchor the mosquito thing to a rock with a string or a wire. Or I have heard that a fine film of oil (salad oil will do) on the water surface is also effective. The larva can't get though it to breathe.
Critter, (Jill?) I hope your new neighbors turn out to be real good neighbors. The friendly welcome gesture (cake) is something we don't hear too much about in the north, but I remember my MIL who was from the south, saying that the proper thing to do was take a homebaked gift and welcome new folks. In her mind it would have been insulting to not welcome a new neighbor. Thus, she was insulted (because she wanted to be after she moved to the north) by not being welcomed that way when she moved into a new neighborhood. Different regional customs, sometimes misunderstood.
Sarv, did the raccoon leave any cherries for you? Critters always seem to know when the fruit is ripe.
We had slices of a Crenshaw mellon for breakfast. It reminds me of a very mild canteloupe, but the skin is yellow and smooth. I bought it because I wanted to try different kinds of mellon, but I think I prefer canteloupe and honeydew. The sweet cherries are in the stores now and we keep a bowl of them on the counter, it is hard to pass by without getting a handfull. All this fresh fruit keeps things moving you know.
I have hay to unload, the lawn to mow (didn't get to it yesterday although I did get the mower out of the shed, and then I need to ride Breezy to see how much better his cough is today. I haven't heard him this morning, so that is a good sign. There is weeding and watering to do and a trip to town this afternoon to look at window coverings and probably have dinner someplace where they have AC, so why am I sitting here?
See you later. ~~~
i lost first one.. have great day.... 2 teeth driving me bonkers.. awful.. try to find a reasonable place today hope..
Yesterday is ashes; tomorrow is wood. Only today does the fire burn brightly.
-Old Eskimo proverb
Back in and grabbing a black cherry yogurt for lunch. Oh yeah and some of my cherry tomatoes. Now how's that for a combination. hehehe
oz ... I'm only about an hour away from Waycross. It's a long lonesome stretch there though. I am not familiar with any bars, *grin* but they have a mighty fine little seafood restaurant. It's called Captain Joe's and long ago was the only place to get anything to eat ... was just a bump in the road. I think it was probably better back then.
Hi Suzie, Mary, Jill, Maria and anyone else I might have missed
Well, my doc appointment is at 1. BBL
Popping in for a minute before I run to the USPS with a package.
Maria, don't worry about the climate for the Valerian, I brought it back from Massachusetts, so it's just making a return trip home.
Sammi and Olivia are being angelilc for the moment, I'm sure it won't last long. Quiet day, everyone must be pulling weeds!
101---It was small then WAY back in 1958 and 1959. And I think the name of the place was Belle's. If I remember correct I am sure it is long gone.
It musta been those beer goggles you had on back then Oz!!!
Okay I'm back. Found out what's wrong with my arm. I've got bursitis, so will be having PT to see if that will do any good. Has ordered light gardening duty ... and of course this includes house duties! LOL Also said I have signs of carpel tunnel ... but who doesn't?
oz ... what a name for a southern establishment, right? LOL Yes, that was a bit before my time ... well, before my time here. That's closer to the time I was born.
Well, still no rain, and we're getting desperate again, but I'm scared to do a rain dance. ;)
I'm hungry ... the yogurt is gone. Think I'll go see what I can find to munch on. Hmmm, maybe some ice cream?
Okay, I have been busier than a 1 armed paper hanger today. Had a dentist appointment, decluttered the house, did sort of redistribute the dust & dirt, but it isn't clean by any means. Cooked things for a pot luck tonight had a mid afternoon visitor, the electricians came to complete the pool lighting. So now we have underwater lights so swimming at night is now permitted.
Okay, got the dog show pics downloaded, so I will post so you can ooh and aah, and get it out of your system. LOL.
IO1- I had bursitis - took me over a year to get better. I took some meds that made it go away and it felt so good, but two days after going off it, the pain was back. Mine was a long long recovery, but I kept using the arm and I probably should have babied it more.
Took MIL to get her blood work done- had to count to 100 several times. I usually take her to the local hospital about 15 miles away. We got almost there and she said 'I wanted to go to the doc office (only 5 mi), so we turned around and I took her there. When we got there she was told they couldn't do it as they didn't have a standing order for it. She was all confused and started to get faint - so I helped her to a chair and went and had words with the receptionist. We'd been there the past three months for the same blood test- no reason she couldn't have it done this month. Well after a pow-wow by some young nurses, they decided she could have it done there. By that time MIL was all done in so I took her home -no shopping..
DIL just called and she dropped their digital camera and broke it and they are leaving on vacation tomorrow. I offered my old digital that is like theirs. Sure hope they take care of it...I really don't use it now that I have my new one, but I'd like it for a back up. DS was absolutely furious with her (I think I would have been mad too!) If she wasn't such a darn good kid, I'd be ticked too. Accidents happen...
Mary, never heard of crenshaw melons...I love good old fashion melons, but don't care for honey dew at all - tasteless to me. We still have a ton of tart cherries- I just hate for them to go to waste (or to waist LOL) I still haven't made that cherry pie- I hate pie making...
hope - get those teeth yanked out!! There is nothing worse then tooth pain - oh except maybe foot pain - opposite ends~~
My hands and feet have been especially achy for a week or so - I should write down when this happens...maybe I'll find a pattern. They are better after I use them for a bit..
Up north we used to deliver home made goods to our new neighbors, but since they are here and gone in such a short time, I don't bother anymore. In fact we have new neighbors that moved across the street and I haven't even met them yet and it has been 3/4 of a year. It's not that we're unfriendly, it's just that the people are here and gone so quick - rental property that allows people do stay for no more than 2 yrs. Crazy...
Well, time to go collect some more japanese beetles and to check on DH. He took 10 batteries back to Sears and bought a new one for the trailer. Can you say 'pack rat'
Well, I have read everything, and am caught up, but don't have time to respond right now. Need to head to the shower and get dressed to go to the potluck. Will comment when I get back.
Oh sarv ... please don't tell me that LOL. When my doc said light gardening duty I told him he just didn't understand ... and tried not to look at him crazy. I consoled myself with some double chocolate ice cream and ate an extra scoop for you! :-)
Defoe, toooo cute! Tell Mr B if I had been the judge ... he'd have gotten first place. I know your DGD had a ball! Have fun at the potluck tonight.
Mary, I always welcome my new neighbors with some sort of present ... although not as much fresh baked as before. Folks have gotten so strange with their eating habits it seems. I must admit to going and getting a plant or giving one of my own. Even cut flowers from the grocery put in a Dollar Store vase works quite well. You are so smart to carry something fresh baked. :-)
Hope, I'll echo what everyone else has been saying. A toothache is a rotten thing to have to put up with. Do try to go see your dentist.
Well, am getting off this puter for a while. ~~~ to everyone else.
Had rather a slow day.... didn't get that cake baked, maybe I'll punt and do chocolate chip cookies later. Elaine, you're right about people's strange eating habits, but I'll risk it, although I did decide maybe it should't be an orange rum cake until I've at least seen them with a beer or something! I've met Bob, and I've met his wife's parents, but I haven't met her yet. They're a little older than us, and I don't think they have kids, at least not ones that are still at home. They do have a little dog, so they're happy about the carefully fenced in yard (original owners had 4 dachshunds). It doesn't sound like Bob is much into plants, but perhaps I can manage a little garden evangelism, LOL. I am sneaky... a little fresh basil here, an African violet there, and suddenly my neighbors are growing heirloom tomatoes from seed!
I like the idea of bringing over some fresh flowers, too. I've got a stash of thrift shop vases, and the lavender and coneflowers are blooming now.... The oriental lilies have started to bloom too, but they might be better enjoyed from across the yard.... I brought in a single bloom of 'Silk Road' last week, and the scent was almost overpowering in the house (even to me, and I really love lilies).
Loved the Harley Hog pic! We visited the factory up in PA last year, was tempted to pick up a pair of "official" Harley bandanas for neighbor's dogs until I saw the $16 price tag... I got a coffee mug instead!
Elaine, sorry to hear about your arm, but glad you've got a diagnosis & a plan. I understand the PT can really help, but you have to be faithful about it. Your therapist can probably give you a better idea of what you should and shouldn't be doing in the garden in the meantime. Hey, a few weeds are a sign of a gardener who knows how to relax & enjoy her garden! :-)
Hi, Everyone.
Had a full day, probably not finished yet. We moved some stuff into the barn (off the porch and the doors I took off last night). Billy (helper) got maybe 1/3 of the Root Cellar painted inside with Dri-Lock. Needed 2 more gallons which I got after I took him home early because his mother is supposedly having knee surgery.
The truck bed is packed frull of debris where we took out the wall and closet last evening. This evening I pulled staples until I had blisters, and even managed to hit a knuckle 3 times with the hand sledge hammer. Ouchies! Then swept and swept aqnd finished the primer-sealer coat on the floor in the office room. If it dries overnight, I may get the top coat applied tomorrow.
I have a bed in my own room! Can't sleep in it yet because the mattress pad is on the clothesline, but IT'S IN MY BEDROOM!!! I even found sheets that size in a box, LOL.
The Heating/AC and Insulation man was here today. They have a tiny camera to run down in the heating ducts to check them out. Looks like a Heat Pump and swomething to aid the furnace will be about $2,000 less than we thought. Of course, they cannot get to it before October... longer if we dally about making up our minds.
I also had a plumber here today fror5 an estimate. I need a hose bibb (spigot) on the front of the house, and one on the opposite end from where the only existing one is... and of course they have to be insulated and drainable for winter. No price quote yet.
The "slow learner" young man (24) who is working for me is driving me nuts. I have to repeat every direction at least 3 times, and then double-ckeck afterwards. He cannot seem to hold a thought more than 10 minutes and I think it's more a matter of focus as he seems smart at least nearly average. I keep giving him another chance daily, partly because I have a cousin who is "slow", so I grew up with the syndrome.
Mike (my yardman) is coming tomorrow to start cleaning the overgrowth from around the spring so I can attend to fixing the spring. Yippee!!
Have a great evening everyone!
Hope-- I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled this morning. This is something I have been putting off for several years only because I just dont like the whole dentist/doctor experience. LOL :) Anyway, I ended up having to go to an oral surgeon and be put completely under since by this time the roots on them were pretty long and hanging around the jaw bone area. DH drove me there and back home and he said the whole procedure only took about 30 min. I came home and crashed and took a pain pill and am just now awake enough to be able to get around do some limited activities. I am soooo glad to have that over and done with!!
Nothing noteworthy today, cleaned up my ironing, thought about doing the windows and promptly talked myself out of it. Yay!! Had a nice chat with Bonnie....hadn't seen the pictures yet. Have to say neither of those pups looked thrilled at their attire!! LOL DD always dresses her dogs up for parades and such but usually just a bandana in the appropriate colors for the occasion. Hard to dress big dogs!!
Picked up take out from a little strip mall not too far away, $5 for an entree (with enough for two) and two egg rolls..
Stopped to shop and parted with a chunk of dough! Might as well stock up on the stuff you use all the time when it's on sale or you have a double-able coupon.
Made rice pudding out of leftover rice, used choc. chips instead of raisins. Eat it while it's warm and do have just a teeny scoop of ice cream with it.
Since we were the first house completed in this subdivision, I was pleasantly surprised to get a little welcome basket from a neighbor in the one next up the hill. I greeted our two new neighbors with home made bread, the one has reciprocated our "mail pick up" for them with fresh rasperries, The other, in spite of having received a welcome plus Christmas cookies two years in succession has never done a thing, and are barely civil. Needless to say after the first two years the cookie thing stopped.
Elaine, we're eating those big sweet cherries by the handful too...can't pass the bowl without a sample or twenty....as someone said, it does keep things moving!
Saying Nitey nite even though it's early, I have a book callling my name..... See y'all tomorrow.
Sheila
Defo------ "As busy as a one arm paper hanger" Are you saying a one arm paper hanger would be busier than a 2 armed one. Would seem to me a two armed one could be busier than a one armed one. Seems like kind of odd thinking. With that kind of rational it is no wonder you have not stocked bass and blue gill inbto the swiming pool.
I called some places to high for 2 teeth my word.. my vehicle i could get it fixed with that. it is awful pain trobs throbs.. though.. will have to figure something out some how.. i ate a tomato with mayo sandwich for lunch and my supper. tomato store one taste like nothing.. the harley hog looks like a real hog sorta. sorry.. i need all done my teeth but finances now very very slim but gotta do these 2.. last time a woman dentist pratically sat on my chest tugged, pulled, pulled tried lots things tools ect. finally got it out but was 1/2 hour torture made my hus. sick he could not watch it no more either.i said no more my face swelled up was very black and blue.2 yrs before that i went to husbands dentist and my face swelled up turned black,blue he went aske dhim what heck he did to me..onec the dentist had tro cut it in 4 sections to get out.. so you see why i wait nearly till pain has me down which does now.. i would rather oral surgeon to but mercy they are so high.. i will try again tomorrow as i cannot sleep even. my yard is burning up heat so bad.. i watered though..have good night all and week end.. my blessings.. gosh i rambled here one thing to another its the pain and pain pills think it is... sorry.. lol...i always sound goofy..my mind is always in fast forward.. so hope you all know what i mean..
Hope- I completely understand. I had to have a molar pulled a few years back with only a shot of novacaine and wow!! They certainly do seem like they are pulling you out of the chair. Hope you can get this taken care of with less trouble (swelling and bruising) this time. Will keep you in my prayers.
Katy
Just a check in before I hit the couch!! DH and neighbor both set a live trap under our cherry tree. I'd laugh if neither one got the coon!!
I was looking at my 9 pots of wave petunias and they ALL have aphids. And I don't mean just a few - they were covered!!! I am just sick. I cannot squish that many and it would take several herds of lady bugs to eat them all. I sprayed with immunox - so far the plants are still alive - can't tell about the aphids tho.
Neighbor came over to tell me that a new ice cream place opened up right around the corner from us. It's in the parking lot of one of the greenhouses I like to visit!! Yahoo - could anything be better!! It is a portable little thing and I know the people - gotta support the little guy, so we'll be visitors there often!
oz - you make me laugh....you're a contrary cuss!! LOL We're going on a camping/fishing vacation next week and I'll be sure and take pics of the big fish I catch!! I love to fish....sometime I'd like to latch onto a coho - they are really a draw here by the big lakes (Lake Mich)
Well, we're watching the movie Grease- so gotta go and sing along...
Well Oz, if I only had one arm to hang paper with, well I swear I would just sit down and cry.
As it is I have 2 arms and I end up using my head and one leg to hang that paper with. Good thing I don't need to make a living doing THAT.
Gainesville was showing 106 at the airport today. Sheesh, good thing it was only 86 here. My weatherbug on my puter showed that temp in red. I thought something was wrong with the program.
Molly
:^)))
Ugg ... 106? Whew that's hot! We're actually getting a nice gentle rain here tonight. :-) It's the first we've had since the 27th of June, I think. I sure hope it sticks around for a bit. It's that good ole slow kind that just makes all the plants sing.
Went to WM to get my RX's filled and of course had to wait for them to be filled ... so went to the garden center to see what was on sale. They had my lighthouse solar lights marked down to $8. Can you believe that? Of course I got an extra one. Have put them on either side of my side walk in the front yard. :-) When the DH was looking through my paperwork for the PT, he saw where my diagnosis said Rotator Cuff Tendonitis/Bursitis. After watching how Susan suffered with her surgery I've decided I'm going to be a good girl and not play around with this stuff and do my exercises. I definitely don't want to be hearing any words beginning with an "S".
Think I'll call it a night. ~~~ to all. Have a blessed night.
Oz, evidently you have never hung paper before. It normally takes 4 hands if you have them. So a 1 armed paper hanger would have to move/work 3 times harder/faster!! Gosh, DH just put his minnows in the pool. Now he justs goes out the back door, baits a trap and throws it in the pool. He can now be ready to go fishing in 10 minutes, when before it took him that long to walk to the minnow pond!!
Hope, do try to see if you can find some way to get those teeth pulled. If they are hurting like that, it could lead to a serious infection in sinus, head. That is dangerous. If you don't have the funds right now, see if you could contact a church nearby. Sometimes they have funds available for such situations. Or see if you could find a dentist who would take payments over a period of time.
Molly, DH tried to help me paper one time (not ever having done it before). I was on the ladder starting it at the top, while he was down at the bottom pasteing it from the bottom up. I think that rather than cause a world war, I begged tiredness after about 3 strips, and ended up hanging the rest of it by myself.
Okay Sarv tell me what a coho is. If it is a fish, it is a new one on me. That new ice cream place sounds dangerous, being that close. At the pot luck tonight, a woman made a freezer of home made ice cream pina colada. I only had a bite, but it was good.
Katym, are you new?, or did you sneak in while I was on vacation a couple of weeks ago? If I have not properly welcomed you, consider it done now.
M5, gosh you lived dangerously today. Ironing, then considered doing windows. Have you taken your temperature, called the DR? If those urges continue tomorrow, please seek help immediately!! Taking something to new neighbors is the custom her in my area of the world. Sometimes you make good friends, and sometimes, you know who not to invite to parties. We have a couple who moved in about 3 years ago, and for the past 2 years have been included in every neighborhood get together, and they have not issued the first inviation yet. Needless to say, their invitations are dwindling. They are the ones who have all the chickens/cats/dogs in their garage.
Darius, sounds like the work is moving right along. How do you manage to find all these men and get them to work for you? That could be considered for inclusion in the Wonders of the World.
Critter, I looked at some Harley attire sometime ago, and quickly decided that Mr. B would not be a biker!! Gosh that stuff is expensive.
Mary, I had looked at the Crenshaw melons, and I will take your advice and stick to the cantaloup. I like to try new things, but unless, I know it is good, don't like to spend the $$ to try it. Gosh, you work hard, every day. Okay, tell us, do you have a horse to ride for the next event? Are they healing well? Horses look so strong and stout, but can be so fragile. How did that rider and horse get, the one who got heat exhaustion, and her horse colicked?
susieq, are they calling a special session of the legislature to get a budget passed and business back to usual? Hope so, that affects so many people.
Maria, glad that Samson gets a kick out of playing in the water. He is such a handsome dog.
lauriewilson, thanks for the kudos on the computer stuff. I hope that it wasn't a fluke, and I can do it again.
cc,~~ at you, as I have just been attacked by CRS, and can't remember what I wanted to say to you.
I am going to check out some other forums, and will be back later to start the new thread.
I01, didn't mean to leave you out in my comments. Glad that you are getting that rain, and I will take it any way it decides to fall, but the slow gentle kind is best. Yeah, don't fool around with that arm. DH has had rotator cuff surgery 5 times, and I believe he could tell you all about it. Speaking of rotator cuff surgery, where is kittymom, she hasn't been around for awhile, nor Babs, gosh hope all is well with them.
The pot luck tonight was a cook out, with the pot luck side dishes. Was really good, and a good variety of things. I made brownies, and I didn't even get to bring a crumb home. Plus took some fresh green beans, and they were all gone too. Don't ya just love when you have a good meal and fellowship?
Well, now I am gone to check the other forums.
Hi again, I'm in fast forward packing and doing all the last day stuff getting ready to leave in the morning. I rode Breezy today, he still coughed a lot so he is not going to the ride. I'm taking Patch to get a chiropractic treatment from one of the vets who will be at the ride, so I won't be riding him either. That means I will crew for my team.
Defoe, the lady and her horse both recovered ok. I got an update a couple of days ago. I do hope she will be more careful/sensible in the future.
Hope, see if your university dental school can help you. I know several people who have had dental work done there and the cost is less than a regular dental office.
Hi and welcome Katym. We like having new folks come in.
Got to go now, still have lots to do. ~~~
Who was asking about coho? It's a kind of salmon.
Dogs in clothes, what a hoot.
Okay, if you want to talk tomorrow, someone pull my buns from the fire again!! Last night must have been a fluke!!. Sorry, Sorry, So Sorry!.
