Has anyone seen one of these trees? I recently saw one and would love to get my hands on one. I've googled it but can't find any information...
Gleditsia 'Pin Cushion'
Any Gleditsia called pin cushion sounds like something I'd love to keep my hands off! Sorry, couldn't resist.

Yeah, it sounds nasty, but it's thornless. The leaves grow in very tight dark green tufts spaced out over the branches. Looks like green tarantulas all over the tree. The tree I saw was about 15 feet tall and just had about 10 really long branches. Looked like it should be in a Tim Burton film or a Dr Seuss book. The search is on!
