Does anyone have any recommendations for a top-notch certified or master arborist in the Los Angeles area? I have a mature avocado tree with a recently confirmed case of root rot and want to get someone to take a look.
Thanks in advance.

Arborist recommendation Los Angeles, CA
If no one responds directly, check with ISA for a referral to a certified arborist in your area.

Country Club golf course Superintendants usually don't mess around. They like good service. Try a country club and ask who the maintenance department contracts with.
Or, go to http://www.isa-arbor.com
Then click to enter, then pick the find an arborist selection from the menu. On the next page, enter your zip code. It will list all the ISA arborists of many certifications for your area.
Many add their email and websites too.
Wish I was in your area.
A master arborist may be more cost or ego than you need.
I've never met an master arborist that could prune better than an experienced certified arborist. The "master" guys are a bit more adept at forensic and consulting stuff. But in the practical pruning work, they are about the same, on average.
But if the consulting is your only need, either arborist may be fine for you.
Who confirmed your root rot issue?
