Niles, MI(Zone 5a)

Tiny & Expensive. The parent was awesome.....I should have something like it in about 48 years...

It's a very fast grower once established (5 years in your case I'd recokken)-

Here's an older one from the website of Coenosium Gardens -

The yellow coloration is new growth and this tree I've heard reported growth being up to three feet per year, one or more meaning a "Large-Growing" Tree as The American Conifer Society uses as a guide. (There's definitely a good foot to 1.5 feet on this specimen).

I just made a pretty big order at Stanley and Son's. I'm so excited! They did not have Taylor's sunburst though, or one I really wanted, Chamaecyparis nootkatensis 'Variegata'.

Is Stanley's just wholesale?

I can see you drooling from here dybbuk.

No, but you have to order a box at a time, which is 10 plants in gallon pots or 15 in 4" pots. I wish I would have know about them last fall. I believe August is the best time for their stock to be full. They have some amazing plants! Definately drooling over lots of their conifers, and jap maples!
