Do any of you grow camellia's? We went to our favorite nursery Sat., and they had White Empress - I had never seen it before. It is so beautiful! Large (5") white flowers with yellow stamens. Bought 2 of them, just couldn't resist.

I also saw, and bought, the Vulcan - large 5" ruffled petals of bright pink with a yellow stamen.

I certainly think collecting camellias could become habit forming.

Supposedly , I can only grow Camellia Oleifera in our zone , but that is OK ......it's good enough for me ;) I do think they are great !! Sounds like a plan for you to become the ultimate Camellia collector :)

Yes! to the collector - going to try to get DH to go back to nursery Sat, lol.
