Friend's husband has passed away

Port Huron, MI(Zone 5b)

My best friend's husband died 2 nights ago. I've been off the puter and trying to help her find some peace as she is blaming herself. They had split 2 months prior and he went the way of the streets and the dope, remaining in the lifestyle that caused the separation. well, she saw him 2 days before he died and tried to get him to come home and clean up and rest, but he would have no part of it. I lost my ex. in Dec. with much the same scenario and I know how hard this whole grieving process is going to be for her.Darrell was a good, and loving husband who got caught up in the drugs and the partying and just couldn't get out. High Times and high blood pressure do not make good companions. He has left behind a loving wife and 2 very confused and scared children. If anyone has a little extra room in their prayers, would they please include "Carmen"and her family. Thanks All.

HI Sandy

I hate to hear news like this it just breaks my heart when there is a death like this. We will put you and them in our prayers and I put them on our prayer chain at church.
Let them know there are people out here that are thinking and praying for them. Sending a (BLH) Big Ladybug Hug their way.Mike

that's so hard, Sandy. I'm praying!!

The one thing that I have plenty of is prayer. Have alot to go around so my prayers and thoughts are with the family.

"There is no peace except the peace of God."
Seek you no further.
You will not find peace
except the peace of God.
Accept this fact,
and save yourself the agony
of yet more bitter disappointments, bleak despair,
and sense of icy hopelessness and doubt.
Seek you no further.
There is nothing else for you to find
except the peace of God.

I do want to thank all of you.I brought this thread up on the PC at her house and she was overwhelmed with the well wishes and prayers coming her way. Carman is DEEPLY religous, as am I, and she was moved to tears(good tears) knowing and feeling others outside her immediate world are helping her with the strength to go through these trying times.
THank you
Sandy

Thoughts and prayers are with you both - I've added Carmen to my prayer list - God Bless -vic
