The first thing that I noticed as I sorted through the mail was that packages marked "FRAGILE" were damaged without fail.
The second thing I noticed was the wording "PHOTO'S DO NOT BEND" written neatly just above the crease that reached from end to end.
Then there was the arrow with the words "THIS END UP" Sitting upside down, of course, next to my coffee cup.
"TIME SENSATIVE MATERIALS" was stamped out in brightest red...And the packaged was delivered....six months after I was dead!
So I'm putting ME in a box and mailing me next door....So I can see America from Shore to shining Shore!

About the mail....For Mz M....
Good idea. I'm doing the same. Maybe we will meet up along the way. Say, Michigan should be nice this time of year. Anywhere to get away from this Georgia heat and humidity. Jim
Boy I would Like to go over seas to France,Ireland or even Germany, maybe even the tunda of Alaska, but with my luck I would end up in the mojave desert with no food or water. Oh it was a nice little dream just for a second.
Mike
Michigan is nice this time of year, and most of our packages are arriving messed up also, so you'd better wear some protective gear your box trip
Sandy
LOL - my dd's bank (6 miles away) sent her statement. It arrived two weeks later postmarked New York. It would have been fun to visit New York at the expense of the post office.

Zany, I just called the post office they said as large as I am 6'6" and a lanky 238lbs. that I would be better off just to take a trip and pay full price. They said a little box gets busted up pretty bad so no telling what would happen to a big box. Anyway what would I do about all the flowers while I'm gone. I know I would be gone a long, long time. Jim
Don't try south-eastern Michigan for any heat or humidity relief...90 degrees all week and threatening (but never giving any) rain! Why don't you send yourself to Washington? I was there one summer and it was quite cool!
