I used some pics from the net as a reference because I am starting a hosta collection and wanted to see how the colors compared to each other (and to keep all the different cultivars straight!). Once I get all my hostas in the bed I am digging for them, I want to use pics of my plants for reference instead. How do I get rid of the pics in the RID column? Tamara
How do you delete an image?
When you add a newer entry (with photo) to an item, the newest (most-recently-submitted) entry's photo will be displayed in your summary column, instead of the older one.
To remove an old photo altogether, you can simply delete that entry. If you have a lot of text you'd like to save, you can copy and paste it into a new entry (just give it the old date when you create it), then delete the entry with the photo.
I had this problem when I added the wrong photo to an entry. I choose the option that allows you to clone an entry with the option of not including the image. Now you have two of the same entries, one with an image and one without. Then I deleted the original and then added the correct picture to the cloned entry. Thus no copy and paste involved. Patti
Good thinking Patti! Also, if you just have one image to delete, you can delete that specific entry from your journal (not the entire "item").
