1. Clarkia-current blossoms dying off. Do I deadhead? Cut back whole stems? Will they re-bloom?
2. Cerinthe- seeds formed but I'm waiting for plants to give them up to me! Then what? Cut Back? Leave alone? Will they re-bloom?
3. BB's- same questions as above
4. Larkspur- will it re-bloom?
After I tour the beds again, I'll undoubtedly have more species to add, but the questions will be the same. Since I've never grown about 95% of the ws plants I have I don't know what to do with them and many are looking ratty. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Help please? What to do with these now?
I like to deadhead spent blossoms because not only does it look better, but it encourages the plant to produce more flowers. If plants look "ratty", cut them back! You eliminate the "rattiness" and will have fuller looking plants instead of tall spindly ones.
Shirley,
Sorry to be so dense but to deadhead clarkia do you just snip the spent blossoms individually, or cut back the whole stem?
Karen
