Can this be done? I am going to try it unless I hear on here that there is just no way for this to happen.... I am working on 100 or so types of shrubs and have good chance with most of them now I want to try trees... any ideas here?
Pecan from cuttings?
EXTREMELY difficult - it has been done, but with very low levels of success. I wouldn't waste my time trying it.
Routine manner of propagation of superior pecans is by grafting/budding onto seedling rootstocks.
