I want to begin using Daves site as my web based Journal rather than record everything on Powerpoint. I am concerned about Daves server and want to back up my Journal to my computer and/or CD in case they crash. Anyone know how to do this?

I think Dave can probably reassure you about the safety of the servers--I think he's probably got backups built in to avoid major data loss like that and even when there are problems with the servers here I've never seen anyone lose data (beyond maybe having to repost a message or re-upload a picture). But if you want to feel safer and make your own backup, I don't think there's really a way to export it in a database-like format, but you could open the page where you're looking at the list of all your plants, then save that web page onto a CD. It won't preserve all the info that was in the database, but at least you wouldn't lose the list of what plants you had.
